Good point, but the whole idea behind the extinction creatures is that element gave them rapid strange mutations like the snow owl retaining cold temperatures in its claws and the mana developing jump jets. That’s at least a decent excuse (sry to get lore heavy there)

Today I tried to tame a 140 doed but it was low on health from scorpions so it balled up towards the end and I ran out of arrows so I had to make a mortar and pestle and gather berries by hand for more arrows and then I ran out of arrows again, repeated and eventually waited 10 minutes for it to regen health and finally ko’d it
