@lilac lava Rag has tons of good base spots; I like the Southwestern isles, particularly the northern isle. Aside from the rare rock elemental, the only dangerous creatures that spawn on the north isle are stuff you can bola, like raptors, wolves, and daedons. (The southern one gets carnos, thylas, and the rare spino; great place for thyla taming). The area has plenty of metal, a few oil veins, lots of pearls in shallow water, and some obsidian. Also plenty of sheep around. The shallow channel between the isle is a great place to tame sharks and basilosaurus.

Also when you seal breaches in the wall to make it look like its been repaired, the trick is to first use a foundation, box it off with a roof and 3 walls, place fence foundations on top in a smooth line, and then make it many layers thick to finish it off. Be sure to place the foundation between parts of the castle so that the enemy can't just avoid having to tare through layers of the wall by attacking the foundation.

This defeats the entire purpose of foundations being above ground.

I always just kill the largest fish to tame them as quick as I can, bring them over, and then I can't see the damn thing because its way smaller than the fish, and the area where I can use the action button is so small that it moves before I can see it.

However, you are more likely to see and be able to hit the button in time while in water because of the angel and them being longer while swimming.

Have at least 1 male and 40 females so you never have to tame them ever again. The females have a very quick cool down time before coming back into heat compared to a lot of other animals in the game.

Personally I prefer Smaller Humans over otters. (Smaller Human is just a nick name for the monkeys.) They have a ranged attack that allows me to do in the game what my secondary breath weapon does to my enemies off the game.

Anything with a lower dexterity than me is dead.

Dilos also have this ability but they are slow and humans aren't strong enough to carry something that small. Plant Species X is a stationary way to do this. Add a bolas to the concoction and you get to where you don't even need mounts.

Also, to Avernus with Dilos. Short range, inaccurate, slow shot, massive recharge, not enough pay off.

You know what I hate the most about loot drops no longer spawning in Primitive Plus is that I use to roll play that my character believes that the loot drops either come from powerful gods or highly technological beings who supply them along with loot.

So I would put items in them as an offering to these powerful beings, such as crops from the harvest, cooked prime meat, metal, flint/stone, cloth items, custom recipes, blood packs, tonics...

And then when in return a loot drop came down giving something useless to me I would put feces in there and a note that reads "This is how I feel about it, here are some things I would prefer."

Can't do that now, but maybe there will come a bug fix in December.

Oh ok. so by the looks of it the mod makes high levels more frequent and it equalises the stats so like you won't have one stat with 45 points and one stat with 20 but you would probs have those stats as 30

if you have an increment of 5 then tek dinos should have one of 6

their level is always 1.2x the default level

You know I find it interesting that in video games building with metal is considered higher tier than building with stone. That's actually not the case in real life. At least not for fortifications. And why else build a building?

See, if you build with metal, that's tinsel strength. If your enemies try to tare a hole in the wall, they have a neat little entry point now. However stone is condensive strength. If they try that with a stone wall now they have a pile of rubble blocking them out.
