Troodons, of a day, are not very aggressive unless you are extremely close to them. Of a night they are pretty dangerous if you are on foot as they will knock you out in a few bites. Unfortunately I do not believe there is a way to scare them off, unless of course you have a Yutyrannus roar handy, in which case you should probably just kill them.

I don't know Epic but you have to start Ark to get the options part. There is the first one where you chose to play solo or not and after you start, at least in solo, you can change things as well. I would assume it is part of Ark not Steam or Epic

I also have all the official maps from the Island to Gen 2 plus some mods and at least one other map so if it was redownloading it would be a lot bigger download

It only downloaded less than 500 mb. Verifying files to make sure everything is Ok. Really strange .... Maybe steam goofed up?

If you’re asking are they tameable, yes. However I don’t see them commonly being tamed anymore as scuba gear combined with a faster/stronger water tame can be a lot more effective in oceanic activities. They are very cute though!

This is just my opinion of what it could be there is no tested evidence behind it. Wildcard put a hard cap on saddles on offical so anytime you would get saddles over 124 amour they would go back to primitive. It could have something to do with that mechanic.

Spinos are a dino that I have never tamed before. Not once in my 400 hours of playtime have I touched a spino

but since its only half the food they tame 2x as fast with it

yeah and they both have the similar damage buff although I feel like people play up the damage buff from ab and x dinos like they are 1.5x when its like 5% more damage and 3% less hp

Flak is the only armour I ever use. Like the only way I use anything else is if I find something from a supply drop. Other then that I am armourles untill I unlock flak
