Anyone else having issues with the paleo ark evo mod, everytime i add it to my server post the newest update and a paleo dino variant spawns it, game completely crashes, after i removed the mod to see if it was the main issue for the crashing, all my evo dino varients vanished

well, you unfortunately can't play on any of them anyway yet since you are Xbox. Not sure why Rag for us is a problem. I mean Rag has always been a little buggy but maybe a mod issue. I know when Val came out we had to remove der dino finder till they fixed it, but it didn't work on any of the maps

Personally I also feel like the execution of the Grand Tortugar is a bit... lacklustre. The only difference with Atlas is that it can harvest black pearls, and can walk underwater.

So I have an Astraeos unofficial server. Just booted it up after the update.. was running smooth.. new lighting looked very nice. Headed towards the new area leaving from the extintion volcano island.. game crashed. Closed down completly, kicked me to windows. So when I finally got back in i was drowning. I was almsot to the surface, crash again. Took me awhile to get back in, trying to get back to my body, tame and loot bag.. just as I got close.. crash. I think every time I look towards the new area of the map I crash. I paused my server for now coss I c an't deal with it right now.. just wanted to have a quick look and has turned into a big thing where I might lose my good gear.. anyway... anyone else has this issue?

For example, I just downloaded all the updates, I checked the manage updates, and it showed 0, tried to start the game and it started the same download again. No. When a server starts, it doesn't display player/slot count. When it's started after loading everything, it displays 0/0 player/slot count. When you see 0/## in the player/slot count, that's when it's accepting connections on the dashboard

if you are ASA, dedicated servers are crossplay between all platforms. non-dedi only for PC xbox to xbox. (not sure on if epic is with steam but it'd be with issues)
if you are ASE, xbox to PC xbox are the only two platforms that are truly crossplay. with steam to epic being for dedicated with issues for non-dedi (would take more work to get a non-dedi then a dedicated no point in doing so)

that was a lie. With the exception of the original release WC have not announced anything to suggest they will actually release Lost Island or Crystal Isle. Their main focus is on paid content and though they do fix exploits it is almost unheard of that they fix anything from the 'free' maps. They ain't free you paid for them.

This said it is currently at 75% off for almost everything so buy the main with BTT and Astraeus for just shy of $20 because despite how untrustworthy the developer is it is a great game.

the dedicated server is a separate program from the game; it basically runs the game without any graphics or an actual player. as long as the server software is running, people can join. if you want it to be up 24/7, you cant really use your home pc, you need dedicated hardware for it, your own, or rented

Our automated rollback has completed and should have resolved the majority of impacted servers.

A smaller number of servers will require manual intervention, and we are working through those one by one. This process takes a bit of time, but progress is ongoing.

SO I had issues with my Astraeos unofficial server. I mentioned it about 12 hours ago I guess.. I crashed when flying past the Volcanic/extinction island towards the new zones. I passout over water. I really don't want to lose my best gear on me AND I had tames on me too with all my traits. I tried getting back but took ages to load in, game kept spazzing out. When I got back in.. ran fine untill I got right to where I died then crashed again! SO I immediadly paused the Nitrado server so in theory my gear and tames etc should be there still. After the recent update, I logged back in and found that everything was gone. My base, my dinosaurs, my important items, and even my tribe have all been wiped. Everything has completely disappeared.

Its gone. They can restore character but not tames. They might give you a few tames but doubtful. In ASE they restored a few tames for us during the big tribe steal many years ago. But they dont give exact ones

Has any one considered that like with lost colony there is a memory leak in the coding for the ast updates. Lost colony before the memory leak fix ran at 15 gigs of storage on our server manager. After the fix it ran at 10
Our ast map with mods normally runs at around 10 gigs. After this update it runs around 16 gigs. Same patterns of issues with lost colony.

Anybody with the paleo mods be able to play? I narrowed mine down to the herbivore mod messing the game up. Once I took out the therizinosaurs it ran smoothly and stopped freezing. However, I dont want to lose my army. Has anybody had any luck with this yet?
