then heads up, Aberration, the map after Scorched Earth has region that covers around 1/3 of the map where your game will keep crashing if ya even look at that region from afar

this is unfortunately an issue with consoles, only PS5 Pro and PC players can get to that zone with little to no crashes

so ya might not be able to finish Aberration properly and be forced to spawn some stuff

Yeah, in the five months i played leading up to LC i did get to wet my feet in lst island, all the way up to beta dragon, then we played Abby for 2 weeks since I wasn't gonna be able to do a legit Canon map playthrough. I nevercrashed on my PS5 until abby in the red zone. Thats when I had to use no fog as a command for the first time and it ran fine after that.

there is an argument that ya can add to the server to completely prevent NPC from spawning in the City but ya will still get outposts like normal

it helps a lot for console players but Nitrado doesn't offer the option to use arguments

When it comes to boss fights guys, what mutations are good, and what ratios? As of the moment I have pure melee mutation on my rexes, I don't really know the limits of how much you can mutate, I would assume a 50/50 of health and melee mutation is the best, but would like opinions.

This is also coming from someone who is new to mutations in general, so please give input, and probably good explanations would be helpful. I know some people mutate for appearances in the mix, and not sure if that ruins your breeding line or what

depends on what game mode ya are playing because Single Player has a setting that's enabled by default which boosts Melee and HP for tamed creatures.

Generally speaking, ya can defeat Alphas with good saddles and base stat but if want to mutate, 20 mutation on both HP and Melee is more than enough for most bosses and on Single Player, because of the boost, ya can skip mutations.

When it comes to herbivores, due the healing of veggie cake, they do not need to have more than 21k HP so once ya get a Therizi order Deinotherium to that HP, pump everything else into Melee

Do note the following:

Megapithicus deals extra damage to herbivores mixed it up with Rex

Dragon deals extra damage to carnivores on top of the 20% Max HP damage which most carnivores can't survive because there's no meat equivalent for Veggie cake

Manticore behaves differently if there's even a single flyer including a pet shoulder like the Featherlight or Drakeling in the arena in which, it'll rarely attempt to land

Aberration boss, Aberration restrictions

All 3 Extinction "Guardians" and the final boss have no tame limit to them so ya can bring as many as ya want but for the 3 Guardians, if ya wish to bring a flyer, ya have to park it near the location they get summoned at before using their respective terminal otherwise, there's a chance that they won't be teleported to ya

For Alpha, a 80 saddle is recommend with 100+ being more then enough

Lots of ppl are having this exact same issue on Xbox. Some ppl have taken their mods off of their servers, but another thing you can do to be able to actually got on your server and the mods list page, is to uninstall the Lost Colony map. That's what me and my daughter have done, and we can play on our server with our mods. It's a pain not being able to do anything with our LC stuff at our base, but at least it beats losing everything we have with uninstalling and running our server with no mods until this shit is fixed

for single player issues I usually check:

• is it happening now on other maps? (emphasize now as each patch can really change things)
• is it happening now on other maps with no save
• does a dino wipe now help with fps at all? (this is usually the most important one)
• are you running anything gpu intensive on top of the game?
• did you change you nvidia app settings, nvidia control panel settings? If so, from what to what?
• what are your graphics settings (and did you at all change them recently?)
• did you tweak the launch argument (particularly the single player spawn range check)?
• what are your GUS? did you tweak any multiplier?

As for your save, yes you can copy it to another folder, delete it, launch the game/reinstall the game, and move that save file back to its intended location. FPS drops like you are mentioning on Single Player likely are related to your save though (otherwise more people would report it and it'd likely be a memory leak), so it might not help unless your issue is with game file corruption or something alike

(if it's lost colony specific - is it happening all over the map, or only in the city?)

basically you want this to be 90%+ as much as possible. and for me the single most effective fix is always a dino wipe, spawns are without a doubt what causes the most issues with vram.

but if you have 100% tried to do a dino wipe (and know it worked), i am less sure. You could install the dino finder and see if there's any excessive amount per creature. I'd definitely try to also disable mods one by one to see if that helps. I know I removed a few like cyber structures etc recently

bottom line is, your setup isn't able to keep up with the game demands right now, as shown by your under utilization of the GPU. For me, it's more often than not spawns related. If it's not that, my next guess would be the graphics settings, the nvidia app driver or settings, the nvidia control panels settings, but if you truly have changed none of that I would spend the time disabling mods one by one and assessing if it helps

Had solved my stuttering a few weeks back and this brought it back stronger than ever 😂 disabled it immediately, even with hard spawn limiters it was far too intense. Okay, so I run two dedicated servers that are clustered together. Whenever I transfer my survivor from my desktop's server (the host server) to my laptop's server (the destination server). it works and I am brought to the respawn screen, but when I press "Respawn (Random Location)," it kicks me to the character creation screen. From there, I am able to press "Respawn existing survivor," but the "Respawn (Random Location)" button is greyed out. When I try relogging back into the destination server, my survivor isn't there, but if I join my host server, I am able to spawn my survivor back in. Anyone have any ideas?

It wont run great, you could get a really low end ini to disable a lot of fog and such to help boost the frames, regardless it also does depend on the other specs aswell

Does anyone know of an easier way to harvest babies? Every time I kill one, either out in the wild or for farming, I can't seem to harvest the corpses with either my dino or player, but they only seem to be harvested if I dismount my dino, and not sure why. I play on SP as of the moment.

They claimed to have fixed Yankees which I have seen proof of but I have also sat above a single node for about 3 to 5 minutes and nothing happens until the Yankee gets attacked and the node gets hit by accident

I recommend that ya use the ini provided in the mod description to turn off power requirement as it requires a Tek Generator and increase the slot cap to no more than 600

I think ya can go upwards of 1000 but just to be safe, I recommend 600 because that's the highest number of slots a singular structure can hold in vanilla ark

if Wildcard wanted people to have Carcha even with Winter Wonderland, they wouldn't have blocked it from spawning in Lost Colony

When can Wyverns get saddles... Some people say they would be broken, but Carchas already are 10x broken and wyverns dont have the regen ability (saddles for armor... btw... sometimes its absolutely necessary)

@wildcard maybe also get your fingers out of eachothers asses, and do some important fixes, like Outpost/missions bugs, spawning in mesh, vault not appearing after getting key, or just in general the IMPORTANT fixes instead of the shit ones. Ty
