i'm not sure if anyone can help but I’m having consistent host connection timeouts when trying to join Ragnarok on an ASA unofficial community server. unfortunately i have ASA installed onto an External HDD (USB 3.0) not able to afford SSD big enough. But i don't believe its solely this as i the map loads to the character screen.

The map loads visually, but during new character creation or character download, the loading slows and then times out.

This only happens on Ragnarok, Valguero, and Extinction.

The Island, The Center, and Scorched Earth work fine.

Single player loads all maps correctly with the same 10 mods, so this doesn’t appear to be a client or mod issue.

Server is data-centre hosted, not website-hosted like Nitrado.

Internet connection is stable; other players can join.

This happens consistently, not randomly.

From what I can tell, this looks like an ASA character transfer / character creation handshake timeout on larger maps, rather than a hardware, mod, or configuration problem. I haven’t found any server INI setting that allows admins to increase this timeout.

wifi is not your internet, all it does is connect your computer to your router. if you are getting an error saying that you cant connect to the mod service, that is between your internet config/provider and curseforge's servers

Ordinarily, on singleplayer, I pass over a 150 Rex and cross the map to grab taming stuff, the Rex will be where it was when I left render. On a server and on singleplayer with preventhibernation on, that Rex will still exist but will have wandered. In neither case would the Rex simply despawn, which is what's happening on my game.

I find that exceedingly hard to believe for the majority of creatures I'm monitoring. I can see a big fast creature, a spino or rhynio or something, having that issue. I do not see that being an issue for mosas and tusos, for beavers, for theris.

What I am finding is that it's unclear if -preventhibernation actually does what it did for ASE in ASA. Seems like someone even made a mod to accomplish that, which makes me think this launch option doesn't actually work.

if you have a good tame you can kill zombies for good XP i leveld up my Argi like 5 times killing them you get lots of XP because they attack in bunchs of 5 and 6

Just has to be a raptor with 100% taming effectiveness, equal to or higher level than the dino you want to claim, and maxed out on exp levels

Otherwise you won't get the full taming level bonus

If you have high breeding rates, use baby wyverns/carchas/gigas to level it up (apparently cryos also give the same exp as wyverns) and if you're on official, use osd's on extinction

So a level 45 baby in the wild will do

And if you want a better one you can just kill the parents and claim the baby with a gigantoraptor once you have one

Hey everyone, I have an idea for developing the Arneo TLC spider and I want to share it with you; maybe it will inspire the developers. The main idea is inspired by the freemium Anomalocaris mod. When the spider levels up, you can level it up in the normal way and from the radial menu. You can level up three elements that affect the spider's build:

Venom: Makes the spider poisonous, and you can change the type of venom.

Jump: Makes the spider physically stronger.

Calm: Enables the spider to camouflage itself and land sudden attacks.

Hi, so after ascending on Lost Colony (I use Microsoft/pc) I can't go into my inventory, it's glitched and I freeze. I can't even look in a vault or anything else. Is this a known issue?
