Are there any temporary fixes for the Heat stroke bug on rag? My friend logged in and has heatstroke, we tried spawning in ice water, 5 AC's and all thinkable remedies but it doesn't work

@heavy cedar I’m sorry for the tag but I have a player in my server who was playing yesterday with me until around 10:00pm and we both got off, he just tried to load his game through Steam deck and got a notification saying he’s been permanently banned in Ark Survival Ascended by BattlEye on behalf of the game developer and he can’t get any info on Steam to help him, is there a way for him to submit an appeal or ticket? He’s never had any issues before

that is a connection issue, it has nothing to do with your graphics and has been mostly fixed, but seems to still happen to some people on some maps/servers

They don't need to, they scale with the number of thorny dragons. Giga in a trap, several thorny dragons peppering it. Here's the kicker, it's way more chill than using a rifle. Their needles, even a single thorny dragon, keeps the torpor going up much longer than the rifle does, which means the giga doesn't drop rapidly after 5 seconds.

got a 140 up to 32k torpor, only on thorny dragons. It's a bit slower, but it basically runs on auto pilot, just wait until he's close, whistle passive, and then finish him with a couple darts or so.

i unistalled and reinstalled today, its still doing it, everything is up to date and usually it is either instant lost connection or if it works randomly will happen later on while playing, black screen will stay till i exit the game or it crashes

The only time I had a black screen was when a file got corrupted or out of sync. Had chatgpt write me a powershell script that creates rolling backups of the 3 main files to make sure i have safe copies. Happened 2-3 times to me.

Longshot of a question to ask here, but anyone else been having issues with "freemium" mods acknowledging you've purchased them, particularly on servers? Have had 2 of the AA premium creature mods and sometimes they acknowledge the status and work fine, other times it acts like I don't own the mod.

Works just fine in singleplayer. The issue persists after doing pretty much any server maintenance/troubleshooting. Garuga's support suggests it's a messed up issue with CurseForge API, and Nitrado refuses to look into it since it involves mods.

I've personally been using a program called Beacon to handle this. While I haven't tried it on the treasure caches, it has worked for basically everything else (supply/loot caches, alpha creature loot, even fishing).

If you know what you're wanting in them it's pretty easy to configure. Downside is that I believe to handle loot overrides you need the subscribed version.

I’ve seen very few alphas on Ragnarok. Before I saw a few alpha megs but that was it. You can increase the spawn rate to help increase the chance of an alpha. Had to up mine significantly

the success rate is the amount of points into it so 43% would be 43 points. generally the highest base points you’ll ever find is around 60. the cap for the stat is 90%, can’t level it higher

im planning to just throw like 40 carchars at AKT so i got super lucky and this server lets you buy premade saddles from its shop, I got a primitive 90 armor converted to BP by helio so im rocking dirt cheap carchar saddles now.

downside of tinkerer is it would have modified that armor value down for primitive, helio doesnt

now what i could see you do on an early game spree is both, convert premades from drops to BP's then combine BP's in tinkerers to get better BP's.

its not the game, something with your isp to servers. run the program "WinMTR" and do it on the IP to the server you are trying to play and look for packet loss. One of my friends was having issues playing on server I am on and his ISP is having a bad route to it, but if he uses a VPN it goes away. Think of it like using google maps vs apple maps for navigation, you may be getting the apple treatment and getting a bad pathway.

Yes, it's worth it, given the fact that there's a lot of QoL added to the game, and better graphics.
New DLC, new maps (although some are prem), it's a fresh start for most and honestly, I don't regret it. But just like ASE, there's a lot to iron out.

clay and cementing paste are two unrelated things.

Hmm, If Im going to be honest there probably two possibilities. One, rag could be bugged rn causing you to crash everytime you try. Or two your world may have corrupted, which the only to fix this and play on rag again is to delete the save (Which I would do at the absolute last resort) I would personally remove every mod you have and try to figure out what mod may be crashing your game, if it is or not? Other then that if you wish to be patient and or really care about your save, I would wait to see if there will be an update!

Id also check if you have any back up saves too!

I have been dealing with this issue since Rag released. I have tried various things and no matter what I do the mods just keep crashing it. The mods themselves are not problematic ones either. I have also tried to reenter my other singleplayer worlds and the same crash happens so it isn’t just Rag for me. Unless downloading Rag corrupted my ability to play certain mods for all my worlds, I have no clue what could be the problem. Without any of these mods my game seems to load just fine.

sharing my experience if other people need to know
1x taming rate, apparently it's ok if you fill up it's rage meter, because if it bucks you off you only lose like 0.01% taming effectiveness. after you get dismounted, you gotta feed it a corpse again to calm it down (rage meter resets to zero, ride time resets to 10 minutes). in total I had to give it 4 or 5 baby rex corpses, and during for the actual taming fed it 45-50 baby brontos

I don't know if this will help anyone or work on single player but I was able to get my Armadoggo back after turning it off of companion mode.
Here are the steps I took.

1. Save your current ark save file to a different directory.
2. Locate a save file backup from before you turned your Armadoggo off and save a copy of that to a different directory (just in case you need to do this again).
3. Replace the current ark save file with the backup. This is rolling back your game to that time.
4. Get into the game.
5. Your Armadoggo should be there. Cryo your Armadoggo.
6. Go to an Obelisk/City Terminal and upload the cryoed Armadoggo.
7. Get out of the game.
8. Take your save file you saved in step one and replace the current game save file. This will roll your game back forward.
9. Get into the game.
10. Go to an Obelisk/City Terminal. Your cryoed Armadoggo should there for download.

One note on the cryopodding. I use Dino Depot and it let me cryo the Armadoggo even in companion mode. I don't know if this works with official cryo pods.
Also I did this on my private server. I don't know if this works in single player mode.

The Island has bad high level spawns, rarely if ever do you find 130-150 level dinos

If you need good dinos in solo go to Ragnarok or The Center because the spawn levels there are pretty good
