giga to be more like a hulk letting us control its rage for a time before it kicks us off, mana to be more a frost assassin where you freeze jump and smash the ice for large damage, pt could use more love with the spin it dose maybe it dismounts the player and tosses them, as for the quets they could work it into a stealth bomber where it drops the oil pots or a tek saddle for heaver shells

Hey I'm trying to understand breeding and mutations. Does it matter exactly where wild + bonus tame levels are allocated on breeding parents? Can't you just breed to the desired mutations ex 20 health / 20 melee and then breed those mutations into a creature with good allocated stats later?

you do want high base levels, since the mutations and level ups are % increases on that, but you can start the mutations right away, and move them over to a great base stat later

🤖 Current Issue

Sir-5rM8 is amazing — he can repair bases, farm, follow, and even act as a proper butler.
However, his work radius is extremely wide and cannot be adjusted. This causes several problems:

He overthinks and often gets stuck.

He tries to cover huge areas instead of focusing where he’s needed.

Players cannot restrict him to smaller, practical zones like a farm area, crafting room, or a workshop.

🛠️ Suggested Improvement

Just like turrets and other structures in ARK, Sir-5rM8 should have an adjustable work range:

Options such as Short / Medium / Long range.

Configurable via his radial menu.

Keeps him efficient, reduces bugs, and makes him much more useful in everyday gameplay.

Enhances player experience without breaking balance.

Keeps Sir-5rM8 relevant instead of frustrating.

although if your PC is old enough to have a hard drive, that is probably not the only compatibility issue

Very few tames actually use all the regions. But they have the slots, just no corresponding body part uses it. So yes, pyro's only use 3 of the slots, the others can be ignored, if those three slots are the same then it'll be a solid colour.

@maiden vale i did the testing (in single player) both the melee damage of a sword, a bite from a shark and the spear blot of a harpoon gun did the same damage to a wild basilosaurus (in both shallow and the depths) as it does to a wild megalodon with no pack boost. A tamed basilosaurus takes the same damage from a wild shark as a tamed one, I honestly can't find the natural armor the basilo is supposed to have

I recently installed asa on my Xbox series x, but it looks extremely pasty and blurry in the character customization and in the game, somehow even worse than evolved(but fsr that kept crashing a lot). Anyone else have that issue with audio sometimes only appearing in right ear for a moment? Stereo audio issues or something. There's a reddit post about it but no solutions

unreal has always been a little haunted regarding audio output

especially wireless stuff or anything that disconnects
