I’ve been looking around to see if I could find a breeding mod similar to the ASE mod called Best Eggs! but for ASA.

Essentially the mod was a structure that gave a buff to dinos that were within a certain range that would force even live birth creatures to drop an egg. The egg could be converted in the best egg station to achieve the best possible stat role from both parents when hatched.

Perhaps theres some new stuff in the game (I haven’t explored much of Bobs Tall tales for example) that I’m not aware of that that would some something similar?

Add an intake to the water and your plot needs to be within its radius. You can use water tanks to extend that. I’ve never tried to only use water tanks so that might work alone

Aside from the intake there are no pipes. I just put an intake in the water, a blue radius pops up showing you how far the access to water will go, and then I put a tap right above my plot on the wall (no pipes required from intake to tap), not sure if the tap has to be that close or not I just do it

I can understand Rag a bit since it is one of the larger map and unlike Astraeos it is most one singular land mass as opposed to multiple smaller islands so there is more to load and render. Maybe since the island is smaller, everything is more packed together which causes more things to render at the same time unlike other larger maps?

Yes that's true. In ASE you had to run pipes. In ASA it's (cough) "wireless" water. As long as you have a tank near a water body of somesort, it'll fill. And it transmits to the next water tank you put down.

I'll be honest.. Just logged on.. The FPS is just Garbage, when you hit a certain point with your base. On PS5 BASE or PRO

I drop down to 16fps.

I had better frames on ASE with my base ps4 in similar bases with no where close to 16fps or it felt different to me not playing on 120hz back then.

It got worse with the last updates they implemented to a point where it does not make fun to build up.. BESIDES the constant crashing wich is way worse on the BASE PS5 then Pro.

Base PS5 =9 crashes in 10mins..

Pro PS5 = 1 crash per hour

They are so slow yoh don’t really need to trap them. You should fence them once they are down though as wolves always eat my mamoths. You’ll need 8-10 Dino gates to fence them in depending how they are laying.

Trapping them helps. Its not a need, but if you can manage to trap them it certainly is less hassle. Especially as they are a pain to hit as they cricle you while attacking like most agressive fliers.

I have tamed them both with using a bear to tank the damage as I shoot them, and with a trap. I certainly prefered trapping them but both worked just fine.

One weird way to trap them is to build a box on a bronto platform and just keep walking as they attack until they phase into the box and get stuck. Just be sure your bronto can tank the damage and make sure you build the box with door frames or windows or something that you can shoot through.

Interesting..there is something wrong or heavy about the wyvern model. Got my game running pretty good now, but 120fps or more, but when I get on the wyvern and fly after a few seconds it drops to 20fps. Land and get off, 120fps. Tried another flyer, like an aargent, and still a very high fps. 80-90, I'm going to need a lower quality wyvern mod or something.

There are mods which make cooking pots irrigated, or you can wait till you level up and get access to the industrial cooking pot which is irrigated

Industrial cooking pot cooks faster, and as long as it has a water source, such as a nearby intake or reservoir, you dont have to put water in it manually.

The way ark works right now, it calculates from the time you left, till the time you get back, how much food would be needed. It does not calculate that at a certain point they become adults and need less food. It calculates the entire time as though they were growing. That is because until someone logs on, they are in the same state you left them, then rapidly grown when someone logs in.

I suggest not leaving babies to grow when offline. Cryo them before you log.

If you are gone, for instance, for 48 hours, the baby will rapidly eat enough food at the normal rate of a baby dino for a full 48 hours. If there is not enough food in the trough to feed a baby for a full 48 hours, the game decides they would have starved and kills them.
