Like idk of they are ultimately trying to put their eggs back into ASE and convince us to get the new dlc they added, but nonstop the bullshit is so ridiculous. Like they dont know what tf they are doing anymore. 99% of their "updates" really only either mess up the game more, or it only helps PC players. ASA was supposed to be the game that made it more enjoyable and accessible to players other than PC, allowing console players to finally use mods. 1 benefit i got from my mods being un-installed was that It made me want to scroll 172/360something pages on the mod list, and I found a lot of cool creatures mods I'd been wanting but haven't seen

But it is also 7:43, it took about an hour and 30 minutes to install my mods, and I specifically avoided it stalling any mods that were more than 800 mbs

I just logged in to watch the game kill 3 of my juveniles from "starvation" while each of them was sitting right besides 8 troughs that all had raw meat in them. They juveniles also had raw meat in their inventory. Before this, the game also starved several of my juvenile Rex's that were all next to troughs with raw meat still in them, fed by 4 fridges on a wagon. This bug of starving dinos sitting next to troughs has been an issue for like what - the LAST 10 YEARS? Currently the only solution I know is to never log out since ive heard dinos only eat when rendered, but when I go to work and lay on a bed, the game logs me out automatically, making this impossible! So frustrated.... How do you deal with this?

This greedy, lying trickster company optimized the game for consoles to sell more copies there, but now it runs so poorly on PC that even 8 GB of VRAM isn’t enough anymore.

They added a fake "fix" and claimed the issue was resolved, but in reality, all they did was make texture quality drop automatically to avoid exceeding the VRAM limit.

The game used to run better with everything set to high, without this automatic texture reduction.

They basically unoptimized the game, it was an unoptimization update for PC to optimize it for consoles.

Just like their old, so called "performance" update, which they advertised as a major optimization patch to make the game run better. In reality, they just secretly forced FSR generation on everyone without saying a word. Nothing was optimized at all.

Well, it's still happening. Literally the first Arthro I saw get killed after this patch went live still had its textures spazzing/flickering in and out of existence. xD

yep, that def could be it. if you bring up the adrenaline overlay you can see how much vram it's using. if it's maxing out at 8000mb then that could be why it's crashing. you may be able to get that down by lowering some settings?

The quality doesn't increase but you get more loot by completing more waves. But that may just mean you tons morr cryopods or soups than blueprints. There's no guarantee what you actually get.

5800x and cl16. not newest but all was good before the ue upgrade. since the upgrade i load in server in 14sec since click join and see inside server. then wait 2mins for all to load.

Pillar spam is because ASA has lower structure capacity. If you have 5k structures within the radius then you can't build or put anything. Therefore people are pillar spamming so that you can't build in their radius.

i know many mesh holes, very visible open entry to mesh, never fixed. youtube is full of videos of holes you can just enter mesh when you want

but im not even complaining about this. i only want to finish my drops and get the loot in the map i paid for.
