Most mods I have installed on my single player save are working except ark nucleus, magna gecko, and klinger additional structures say incompatible. If I were to delete them and reinstall them before loading my world would it be like nothing happened or would everything in the structures like dedicated storages be gone?

as long as they are downloaded and on before launching the save, nothing should change.

also why are you using nucleus? if its for the stat points in the inventory. I think vanilla with sprinkles may run better. its a fairly heavy mod for that one thing.

Can someone help me out possibly? I died due to getting stuck inside of an invisible rock and could not access the inventory to get back my stuff. So I rolled my server back to the automatic save from earlier today. Now, all of my podded tames at my base are completely gone.

Cryos are hit and miss currently (soon as log off they broken or show raptor icon or just don’t register at all )

I’ve suggested people not use cryos for this reason as for invisible trees and rocks this is happening a lot and Randomly appear in bases

Hello, there's a problem with the AA mod. The Nitrado log files always say "This mod can't load" and only on Iceland. We're the second cluster to have the same problem with the same mod on the same map. As a result, the map isn't displayed as online.

I’ve been helping out server owners so I’ll put this below as this has helped them mostly and it’s been passed to other server owners etc

Helpful to servers info mods

• mods that generally use some form of vanila skeleton such as raptors etc 9/10 work

• most that use ui or custom ui input generally don’t work currently

• editing lighting on map to make it dimmer seems to help stability and some reason help get people in servers dunno why just does

• if having issues with cryos or depot (if depot doesn’t work ) use pelayoris cryo storage (as doesn’t use wild cards new cryo input method so cryos work affected and works better then most cryos ironically)

• most edit spawns made cause server not to restart unsure issue of this but something to be aware of

Many issues that can come from many different sources.
NVIDIA cards are really straight forward in terms of the names.
The first two digits give the generation (10xx,20xx,30xx,40xx,50xx)
And the latter one how much „power“ your card got, the higher the better (xx50,xx60 - xx90)

I see there’s a version of this too, was just curious, since the 3060TI version would be stronger than the plain 3070 iirc.
But your card is in theory a bit faster than his but I also suspsect the main problem is the low VRAM. 8GB is sadly not enough for demanding games anymore, and ASA is on top of that also a really badly optimized hardware hungry game that just sucks up VRAM like it’s nothing

Or AMD the 7900 XT is also good yet a bit cheaper than the 7900 XTX, but both cards can easily do 4K on really high / maxed settings while being considerably cheaper than NVIDIA (and both are comparable, if not stronger in case for the of the XTX than the 4070 TI Super as well).

I used to get 80-120 fps on high settings, since 5.5 I get 80-90 fps for about 10 mins then it drops to 10-12 fps and is un playable, dropping it to medium or low sometimes gets me 30-60 minutes before it drops to 10-12 fps but its really stuffed it for me.

Tried this.. not much help. Obviously pushing F11 to go windowed and not windowed seems to fix it, but when it comes back it changes the resolution. My native is 1920x1080 but after pressing F11 to toggle it sets it to 1600x900 which leaves the text blurry. Half the time I force it back to 1920x1080 it lags immediately.

Double Inventory will never be fixed. There is a timing issue on loading into the transfer in base, especially if its a large build.

Only you would know that. during the intial render it slows the inventory transfer and duplicates the adds. You can see this when watching the remove and add during the process. It processes the remove inventory before the add which will duplicate it

It will only dupe up to stack size, so either split it after transfer and throw on the ground or reduce stack on commonly transferred material. Also, the duped armor, you will need to unequip from your body so it merges the dupe then re equip it back on or you can lose it in the next transfer

cap you framerate to something you PC can achieve without the frame generation
exemple : my pc can run my custom setting at +72fps without frame generation , so i cap my 144hz monitor to 72.
so now when i am in inventory , stat fps and afterburner show 72FPS because frame gen is off in menu.
outside inventory is cap at 57fps in stat fps and 72 in afterburner ( because that is how frame gen work)

the thing is to make sure you stay lock on you framerate cap when frame gen on/off

to test this simply cap your FPS to what your inventory fps drop is (which is ''half'') the real one.

I'm starting to think the FPS issue is a problem with texture streaming. I've been doing a little testing & if I turn off texture streaming with at startup with "-notexturestreaming" I get the same FPS as when the fps usually drops right from the start. Since the 5.5 update, minimap seems to always be full resolution, even after the significant frame drop. Not sure if helpful or not, but texture streaming seems to be different for me as well

I've been trying to play for the last hour. (Official PVE Astraeos) was down when I got on came up for 10minutes and went down again. The game has been 75% unplayable since the 5.5 update. The server spends almost as much time down as up and you are lucky if there isn't a rollback. I don't understand how it not only seems like nothing has been fixed but it's worse. Some kind of acknowledgement that there is an issue would be nice. All I see is "we are working on a fix for mods" in most posts. the only thing I have seen is change your upscaler & Anti Aliasing to unreal then Res scale to 50. It seems to have worked. IMO that fix should have come from wild card, but mods are what is important too them and not a unplayable game.

Game became unplayable on my PC after 5.5. I’ve switched to playing on ps5 tho and it runs greats on that for some reason. Kinda sad that I bought bobs and stuff only to not be able to use it due to an update XD.

Is there a way to uninstall and reinstall maps on Xbox without uninstalling and reinstalling the whole game? I’m having issues with certain maps but not all telling me I don’t own them.

Having same issue but saying they are not installed. On xbox app, make sure you are logged into the account you purchased map on. Ifnits the not installed but it really is issue your sol until wc realises it is an issue. To manually uninstall maps go to manage game and there is checkmarks there to remove them

Ugh. Makes me wanna pull the plug on my unofficial server for it’s becoming not worth $25 a month. I’m not the greatest with things like that but I don’t seem to get that option on either my Xbox or my app. So I could very well be doing something wrong. I’m attempting uninstalling and reinstalling currently. And it’s weird for others I play with on the same server and system have no issues but some are like me.

If your on pc.. xbox app.. uninstall everything.. go windows store.. download ark.. and all maps individually... should fix the own map but not installed issue
