Slightly modded (like 10 mods or so).

We're constantly having issues with rubberbanding and lag. Some other random issues as well.

Reached out to their support and they'll "do some adjustments to the backend" and sometimes it'll make it better and sometimes it wont.
Usually comes back after a while.

And once you get a sizeable base going nothing seems to help.
Or is that not a Nitrado issue but rather an ASA issue?

happened to me as well and then after awhile it just started moving until it was finished, it also happened one time that needed to uninstall mod and redownload it for it to work, also make sure to stay on the mod download screen ive noticed if click download and go out of that area looking for other mods sometimes the download stalls

no its not going to, but if you have modded dino balls , modded structures put them in vanilla cryopods and vanilla storages so it doesnt get deleted (lots of mods will break and could lose stuff) if in base vanila items like vault, cryofridge etc your stuff will be safe

Hi there so quick question : I’m attempting a tame ladder challenge on the Island and so far so good but I’ve ran into an issue. The hyaenodon meatpack is unlockable at level 19 but it requires 20 metal ingots. I could go around it by getting to level 20, then taming it but it feels kinda like cheating. Any ideas ?

Diagnoses:skills issue, I suggest bringing Rex or yuti baby’s, get close toss out a baby and murder it. Carry it close to carch, when it sniffs it out drop the baby and run back, stay close until the catch eats the baby then boom hop on and start munching

Do y'all have wild creatures just randomly despawn/disappear?
I've had it now at least a couple times with high-level dinos I wanted to tame.
First I found a 145 spino, went back a couple ARK days later, and it was just, gone. (I had gone over there a few times in between to check on it and it was always there, but once I had the stuff to tame it, it was poof.).
And a few weeks ago I stumbled upon a 145 giga, and now I can't find that darn thing either. (It did have its head inside the mountain when I left it, so maybe it meshed? I dunno).
But running getallstate command, no giga comes up.
I am on SP, so I'm not sure if it's a render thing, but I do use the command like right on top where I had seen it originally.
Would running in no hibernation help with this? I've not bothered with it before.
And even if it did despawn, a new one should have spawned in its place, but I haven't see any gigas or carchas.... and after I killed the one rhynio I saw, no dice there either. I've been up and down the swamp a half dozen times or more. It's like these rare dinos just stop showing up or eventually disappear on me. Maybe I just need to do a bit of a killing spree around their spawn areas to open up slots. Because all the other creatures spawn in/respawn just fine.

in the ice cave, stego for badger immunity with a few barys for protection

in water caves, like 8 sharks will buff each other and bleed down everything

The UE5.5 update is now due 4th June, Wildcard are aiming for **"Night-time PST". **

This is roughly around <t:1749092400:R> - <t:1749114000:R>, it could be more, or less, but until we have a specific time-frame, it's just Night-time PST (for anyone in UK/Europe or anywhere East of those, it'll be Thursday for us).

• Anyone on official doesn't need to worry about mods, or skins. The cosmetic skins on official do not change the game items other than their mesh (not how they work). There is a false rumour being spread that it'll wipe your items/builds, but they will not. They may appear broken, but that's just the mod. You can also remove your skin mods if you want to, but it isn't needed.

• Anyone on unofficial should make a back-up save prior to the UE5.5. update just incase.

• Many mod authors have stated nothing has broken for them and they have already tested and cooked their mods within UE5.5. so no need to worry. But some have also said, just to be safe/for your own comfort, place things within vanilla (base game) structures/cryos. Again you don't need to, but some are saying it just to be safe.

• this update is going to be large; "it's essentially the whole game to shift to 5.5, so about 150 gig (lil less for Playstation) then each map which will be around 5 - 10ish" - Dollie. It does also bring ARK's Bday event, new structures, Astraeos map update and more!!

• if you're on Official, remove anything you have uploaded (Inc characters) prior to the update, to be safe.

• If you’re on Unofficial and have infinite storage time in obelisks, make sure to remove modded items from there as well. (broken mod items may be invisible, but still occupy space, messing the storage capacity, as an obelisk inventory is bound to your account there's no workaround on getting the slots back without killing all your progress)- advice from @twilit void

There’s plenty of YT vids. I do it. Also if you don’t trust it. Just use a yuty instead of a stego they hit way harder and their roar pulls purlovia out of the ground.

They’ll still be burrowed and lunge at you but they don’t dismount you
