I have a question: for the past 3 days, whenever I try to log onto the game, the game immediately crashes me out as it tries to load the screen. It happens in single player and on a private server I pay for. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, cleared the consoles cache, did the corrupted data repair, rebooted my console and internet. Absolutely nothing has worked. I even deleted my saved single player character, and nothing works. Does anyone have any idea what this might be? I’ve already submitted a bug report. I’m also on PS5. And no matter what map I play on, it’s the same result. Can anyone help? On ASA

i don't think that a farm on a saddle can get water from a tank.
what you could try is make a pillar, and put a water tap up above the parasaur so it "rains" down on it

What I have seen is that the amount of kibble you get is less then what it took to tame the creature. For example if it took 10 kibble to tame you might get back 8-9. On 1x
When it’s 2x or 3x and you tamed the creature on those rates it would take 5 kibble and you would get back 8-9. The number are just for illustration the actual numbers vary.

It’s possible that the compartmentalizing the game so not all maps are downloaded is that is delaying the release. Once released and stable perhaps UE upgrades will happen more frequently.

Yep, that was the issue. The client side was having to download the older ASR version to load my Scorched and then would download the newer version to load the cluster's other maps. And we all know how long a 1gb mod takes to download around here. 😵‍💫

Can anyone walk me through using the info on Dododex to tame a pteranodon?
I use a Bola so it can't escape when it's on the ground and knock it out with the stone club.
Put 5 Raw Meat in it's inventory and Narc Berries just in case and apart from him gaining consciousness again nothing happens regards taming it.

I don't think they do anything for pve really, they can't even farm berries that good 😂 maybe use them to fight titans. But in pvp they are used a lot for pushing towers, killing players on the ground, and making enemy dinos run aggressive and towards you, using the dread blast that hits from distance.

Well, Easter has tons of pastels and bright colors. Fear and Turkey both have browns, oranges, etc. Winter has red, green, white, etc. Valentines has pink, purples, white, red, etc

Try holding down the jump button until you can move. Sometimes this works. If you can whistle a game you can rise close enough to you can mount and get unstuck. Otherwise die and collect your back without getting stuck again.

Just in case anyone gets stuck like I just did - Enable console commands in the settings/advanced - Press the right button over the square button then press on the trackpad.

Console command you want is cheat ghost which will allow you to walk through terrain.
walk is the command you want to turn yourself back to normal.

stuff with 10x the deck's GPU capabilities struggle to get intelligible visuals, and it's CPU is also far below the requirements, plus memory below the minimum requirement (16GB shared is a lot worse than 16GB RAM + dedicated VRAM)

if you have a PC or console, you are much better off LAN streaming the game to the deck

There seems to be an issue with the structure limit on the official ARK PvE server. It says that there are over 5,500 structures, but even with a rough count, it’s clearly nowhere near 2,000. So why is the 5,500 limit being triggered? Also, it shows a number far exceeding 5,500, and when I remove some well-placed structures and try to rebuild them, the number becomes even more unreasonable, making it impossible to continue building. Shouldn't it have been impossible to build beyond 5,500 structures in the first place? Why is a number far exceeding 5,500 being displayed?

Some spots even show a 5800/5500 structure limit. If the limit was supposed to be 5500, it shouldn’t have been possible to build beyond that in the first place. So why is it suddenly showing this now, even though it went over 5500? It seems like there’s a bug in the structure counting system.

I lost all my skins on ASA 1x official. I know when you get them, they only unlock on the console/pc you got them on, but they are still unlocked to that character.

In ASE when this happened, you could go in single player mode and unlock them on there and they would be back on your official 1x account.

if 7 is the weight that looks to be the one you need, you might need to fiddle with the multiplier.
rememeber if the base weight is low (150) then adding say 10% is still only 15, even if you were to push it to 50% it would only be 75

maybe, i have never seen any tests of this game that i can trust where an NVIDIA card is put against a similar class AMD card

and it has 4 more GB of VRAM which is very important
especially cuz this game is a VRAM hog
