the expose to the sky is wierd, a lot of us, especially the less creative live in a box with a roof, and that is where our bed is. I do have a friend who stuggles to load into exinction.. it acts like they not in a tribe so doesn't see the beds.. but they can spawn to a random spot then see all the tribe assets including beds.. so, I know, no help.. but you not alone.

I'm currently unable to create a support ticket because it asks me to log in first—but there is no option to register a new account. That’s why I’m reaching out here, hoping that maybe someone from the Studio Wildcard team sees this.

We lost our base defense because ARK didn’t allow us to join our own server for several hours. So either ARK/Wildcard is responsible for us losing all our hard work, or the enemy players were cheating and intentionally prevented us from joining the server.
We were completely locked out, and when we finally managed to join again, the base was already raided.

Please help or at least investigate this issue. Thank you.

PSA: When transfers open on the 11th be careful when transfering because things in the obelisk/transmitter are disappearing for some reason since recent patches. Uploaded a tame via the creature upload as a test and it wasn't there upon getting to the destination server.

From personal experience, if you want to transfer things to another server have it in your character's inventory instead of uploading it. Have transferred over a dozen times recently and haven't lost anything as of yet (this doesn't mean something can't happen).

Also you may want to make sure that the destination server isn't full because if it is your character is not auto-uploaded/downloaded and something can potentially happen to it/the inventory

So, the CPU power for running your own host isn't much, it's the memory that really gets you. I'm running all 6 offical maps plus Club Ark and it takes up just a little over 64GB. My server is running 128GB but not all computers can run that much. For a single map 16GB of ran will do it.

Remove all mods, at least one isn’t updated and causing issues.. then you can try them one at a time to figure out which one it is…. Put all your graphic settings on low and see if you can play.. then try increasing a little.. you might be try to run more graphics load than your PS can handle

Cool didn’t know the max but I’m looking more for a specific stats like anky max melee and weight or charch melee top is 1005 or what not. A list that has the specific tops for each Dino and or hey if you have an anky these stats you should invest in or hey if you have a fire wolf these stats is where you should spend your points kinda lists. I’ve search online I found one list but didn’t seem super up to date for the stats and dodex doesn’t say hey this Dino scales on melee hey the guanas range scales on food stat. It's literally just... boost melee=more dmg. breed for more stats before tamed points = more dmg. The only complexity in ark comes from gameplay overhaul mods

I seen one community list where people have recorded the highest stats they have seen so far they just don’t update it often it seems. And idk I’ve never played ASE but an hour ASA I’m learning and newer. However like the Guana you want to invest your points into the food because it extends the feeding range. The argy you want to invest points into stamina health and weight to carry metal for extended periods and also not insta die and good argy would have a good 500/600 plus melee to imo if you can breed it right. So where you place points on some Dino’s can be helpful or hurtful if your not aware

I made that mistake with my first beaver put all points into health to stay alive and couldn’t carry crap 😂😂

I mean there are people that would use certain dinos for certain things and you really just points into what you need. it's a sandbox game there's not going to be like a "here's what you do for this dino" guide. but yea you're finding out what the general uses of each are..

Just think, what am I going to use this dino for? and then do that, and allocate accordingly, I doubt anyone has made the time because this becomes automatic when you have more than a handful of tames.

There may be some outliers, but mostly, easy choices.

You may need some weight on every dino, and a little hp maybe, depending, but if it only goes up 20hp it's probably not worth it. Just experiment, you'll be fine.

So I've seen over the last year people have been complaining about dinos disappearing and not having any tracking information and nothing in the tribe logs.
This can be a single Dinos or an entire tribes Dinos (This is only referring to un podded dinos).
I've also check my servers logs and nothing is shown.
This is NOT the 50/50 bug. This is not Mod or API related.

ASA is a copy and paste of ASE and yes it looks better but there are way, way more bugs and crashes which are mostly being ignored whilst they work on new paid content. All the original DLCs are included in the price but they are being delayed more and more to make way for new paid content abd we don't even know if we'll ever get Crystal or Lost Island anymore 😦

Nah there has been very little (if any) client optimisation, dlss frame gen seems abandoned and game is heavily reliant on fsr frame gen. There's an unreal engine update coming within the next couple of months which will hopefully deliver some performance uplift 🤞

Hey Guys I am needing some advice... Current machine used to host ARK:Ascended is a HP ProLiant Gen 8 server with 8 LAN's So far now after every other update, the LAN selected can no longer allow inbound connections and I get the "Connection Time Out" error in ARK when trying to Join... But if I select a new Local LAN on that server... it runs and hosts fine again until more updates are rolled out... So far I have burned through 7 of 8 LAN's The LAN's that are no longer usable are 100% fully functional as other services are running on this server using the affected LAN's by ARK. I am using ASCT (Ark Server Creation Tool) and I am not sure if its the tool itself locally black listing my LAN's or if the updates are bricking something software side.

Any Help would be appreciated.

LAN IP 192.168.1.102 Was used to host ARK... after a few updates released by wildcard.... that IP no longer allows inbound traffic.. and I get the "Connection Time Out" I have rebooted the machine... Minecraft, Valheim, RustDesk and these are using the affected ports that ASCT will no longer host on... so its not a physical issue with the LAN ports on this machine... its software and I cannot figure out where the bug is, but this bug is activating when ASCT runs updates to the server files...

I had to run the netstat command at one point... cause during an update the tool jumped by 15 ports... the default query port is 27015 and for some reason it now wants 27030... and I never changed that... Now that I figured out that bug... now its blacklisting the LAN's on the server (8 of them)
