My only issue with the megaraptor is its way of taming. It should be tameable only in the day and in order to tame it you must like flashbang it or just use some sort of light to stun it like the yi ling. Killing one and making claws and fighting with a wild one to weaken it sounds like too much work

I also had a slew of blood based abilities like Hot Blooded which makes it immune to freezing and Blood Thinner which buffs bleed damage from other targets. No actual bleed attacks but extra unique abilities that are good for debuffing targets.

Also I know torch mounting on saddles is already encouraged cuz of troodons but I'm gonna be fr they. Never really threaten me when I'm on a mount.... I just take them head on they're not really that strong. The risk of being knocked off the saddle because of a jumpscare creature would encourage me to keep everything well lit, though, including my mount. Just that weakness to fire would make it such an interesting dino that I would actually really like.. Makes them feel more like an actual creature to have a weakness idk, so I'd gladly tame one regardless of the risk

Invisible. I usually use a high level fire wyvern and eat a flower. Kite it to ground while it attacks you. Once you hit it once with fire to start the tame tracker just keep eating flowers to hold it's agro and tame it. Not as efficient but it works

I know how the game currently is and it’s issues, i have for a long time wanted change and it hasn’t come. This will not be a reskin of anything especially if you look into it’s abilities, the only reskins we got were the Maeguana and Pyromane. Everything else had hand crafted animations and features. Also it wasn’t up to wildcard to choose Megaraptor, that was all the fault of the fans. I have been begging for actual TLCs for a while now and in some instances like with the Scorched Earth creatures and with the Terror Bird and Carbonemys we did get minor updates. All this shit takes time and it’s hard to focus on fixing up old stuff when they’re trying to push out new content and keep servers from going belly up. Shit is getting done but it’s taking a long time because of work pile up.

Either use a code to overwrite spawns or just have to deal with it. Changing OverrideOfficialDifficulty in your gameusersettings.ini will fix the max level but it will not change the amount of low level dinos you'll find vs the amount of high levels

Good things to note during this outage. The server timers are still going, which means your gens wil run out, your dinos will starve, your eggs will hatch. You can't connect, but thats your problem. There are some servers still online, but it would seem the official network is unsupported until it suits the people responsible for the ddos

Just a thought with the Gene Scanner, but since they can't seem to stop things from spawning in the mesh, it would be nice if you had the ability to Void the nearest thing the scanner was tracking. A lot of offical servers and Nitrado servers are under DDOS attacks... please be patient as WildCard deals with this issue.... Private servers should be OK for now unless their IP is leaked then they will be attacked too... all 10 of my arks are operational , but I am not renting a Nitrado server

The NA-PVE-Astraeos5974 server has not let anyone in since last night. It has said 0-100 since then, which means the days are still going in game. I even checked to make sure, and this morning the day count was showing 223, and now its showing 226. I get that the decay timer is off, but that does not protect the creatures from starving, like babies.
