Dmg isnt important on yutys but health is. That also depends on which boss you are fighting and what other dinos you are using. Since Yuty drag weight is higher than pyromanes if you are using pyromanes in a bossfight the boss will aggro to Yuty first. Just an example.

I’m reaching out because I lost my character after an update and a server crash. I was in the middle of an Element Vein event when the server crashed, and after I rejoined, my character was missing.

yes its a known asa bug when you crash during a transfer before the server you are going to, goes through its backup process... there is no way to recover it yourself. you have to talk to whomever runs the servers and have them restore a backup of your character. (this is what I have to do anyway)_

its super easy to fix.. the server owner just has to click a button... but still can be a pain in the butt. (I am the server owner on my cluster so I occasionally have to do it for others too

You can build underwater no problem. You need somewhere to log in though and have time to build up a little for moon-pools.

like starter zone is an air bubble, gets you to the point you can build up tranqs, get armor, etc. Then you get into the water and start taming. There is no sky.. you go up and hit the zone barrier. Can't even get air at the top of the ocean

The ice titan is a tricky one, the best method imo is to use two people. (at least) one in a mek to kiteit in circles and hit the nodes in the front, and one behind at a distance with either a mek or a good fabby sniper. You can do it other ways, but that's probably the easiest for a beginner

Fun fact, if you're having issues in ASA to get the artifacts on the Island, you can simply go to the center and snatch all the artifacts there. The caves currently have a bug that causes the majority of cave dinos to not spawn or straight up fall through the map.

This makes it extremely easily to snatch and grab all of the needed artifacts which you can take to the island map and summon the bosses. It's fantastic for getting an unfair advantage over other players as you don't need to complete the snow cave or underwater caves which is what players on the Island will be doing, hope this information helps

It is a long term assignment and we have decided that we are going to tame every creature on the map Extinction. One of the requirements is that we need 2 experts in the field to ask a question or two. We have already gotten one and need to get one more person. Preferably we need someone with a lot of hours in the game. It won’t take you too long - I just need to ask some quick questions that shouldn’t take a lot longer than 5 minutes.

This will never change and you'll just have to accept your no longer a teenager or early 20s player who can game 40+ hours a week. The only other option is to hard-cap progress which never works because then you have to set that limit to say.. 5-10 hours of progress a week. Hard-core players will move on to other games

Let’s talk about breeding. We’ve been doing some internal investigation on ASA’s breeding system and we’re going to carry out some tests this weekend to gather some more specific data on our Official Network while no event is active. We’ll then do the same testing again the following weekend during an active breeding event (yay!).

We’re hoping this data can be used to help us make some optimization improvements to the system, so that when the events are active, they’re less likely to have an impact on server performance.

ark was already a heavy game before moving to UE5. it just got more heavy (this time with graphics). I don't know heavy the isle was but probably isn't since its a different kind of game. ark has a ton of moving parts. based on what I've seen on the isle its mostly just a roleplay as a dino game

The simple fact is. Ark has more bugs then functioning mechanics. It needs help and it needs transparency. They make excuses and SOMETIMES make positive changes.
