If you're on official they are kinda difficult to tame because there's an anti-trapping measure they put in. Basically if the nest us too close to structures the baby will not start minigame. But unofficial/sp should have no issue

Unless you have crazy melee, yes. Like salt is saying, 30k works for the other bosses fine with 1k+ in melee stat for alpha, but for gamma as long as you have 10-20k hp and put everything else to melee you should be ok. Dragon is the only one that is an issue on all difficulties due to his % damage

Theris are most recommended for dragon, unless you have pyromanes on asa since they don't burn. On ase, the best dragon kill method was using deinonychus because the dragon doesn't aggro them the same way as other tames

Veggie cakes heal 10% of max HP, capped at 2100, so 21K is the sweet spot - dragon does (IIRC) 25% max HP with the breath attack (or might be 20%) - either way you die fast without healing. Deinos made it easy on ASE, you can also try to cheese it with a megalocerous - but this isn't as easy as it used to be.

Imo, if you're using a theri for wood get a beaver or mammoth to follow you, since they reduce weight on wood by a massive margin and just pump melee into theri. If hopping off and unloading is too tedious for you, level the weight. Also if you're harvesting wood/meat, level power harvesting

np. hope that helped? The command basically tell is gfi (ie: spawn item), (name of item) Then the first 100 (quantity) , the first 0 (Quality 0-100), and then the last is True (1) or False (0) for if you want it to make a blueprint instead of giving the item, so 0 is item, 1 is blueprint result

Are you, though? Because so far, all we see are empty promises and a glaring inability to deliver any meaningful improvements.
What’s even more frustrating is that they acknowledge the issues – congratulations on stating the obvious! – but nothing ever actually changes. It feels like watching the same tired excuse on repeat, while the servers remain as stable as a dino on a sugar rush.
Is it too much to ask for some actual competence? Or at least the humility to admit that maybe, just maybe, they’re not ready to manage a game of this scale? Because honestly, I can’t think of another game with this endless parade of technical failures.
ARK has so much potential, but it’s trapped in a cycle of excuses and neglect. WildCard, if you’re truly "working hard," maybe it’s time to admit you need help – or that you still have a long way to go before calling yourselves professionals.

gamepass is xbox, yes. in ascended, you would be able to play with steam players only on dedicated servers with crossplay enabled. evolved has no crossplay. there is no reason to get the xbox version for PC, it is generally more restricted in terms of mods, features, and troubleshooting

has anyone had any issues with gamma on SE as of late?
The cluster I am on started off on Extinction and then we added SE.
I had been on SE on a previous cluster prior to extinction dropping and the map ended up being great after a week or so, at the beginning it was a bit crazy with the pixel weather storms lol
But when this cluster I am on now added SE, I went over and the map was so white washed it was terrible. Night time was worse.
We had the xmas and fear evolved mod on and after the huge mess yesterday, I tried to load up SE, admin had removed the xmas event and when I loaded up, the map was beautiful again.
Hopped on this morning. No mod updates, same mods, and blinded lol

it'll be fixed (much lower) when the UE5.5 update releases and the non-island maps are downloadable DLCs instead of baked into the base game.

steam does the patches, wildcard doesn't tell steam to do full game patches, it does it for other games as well. its just how steam deals with UE games. it'll improve when UE5.5 releases as the non-island maps won't be counted.

yes, you can, all steam games work the same way. games dont supply their own patchers, it is all steam 🤔

a future update will address it by allowing people to not install some maps, keeping the filesize lower, but there is not any way to magically change how steam patches games

loading memory limits, something in extinction is using more memory than intended. if you are on PC with >8GB VRAM, you can increase the limit manually. not recommended on consoles or systems with less memory, it will cause crashes or severe lag

it has nothing to do with the server, and it is a hardware/safety limitation. consoles dont have SWAP space to fall back on like a PC, they will just crash instantly if memory use goes over a certain point
