13 servers for NA = 910 players. And that's CAPPED. Get rid of half the Island servers that for some reason has 428,90% of them with less than 4 players 90% of the time. You have upwards of 30 THOUSAND people minimum in the discord begging for Extinction servers to play on. You all are just incredible. And I mean that in the worst possible way. Listen I've played PVP, I hated it because of the competitiveness involved. It doesn't matter if folks built up already. Either get gud or join a tribe that's already established. PVP has twice the amount of servers than PVE. The PVE servers fill instantly. We got every right to complain about it. They also tend to totally screw over the OC folks and even the Asia folks as well. All I saw was NA then EU servers drop and they all filled in under 30 seconds. Spamming for stuff is going to earn you a mod time out. You all need to grow up and knock it off. Go outside and touch some grass, get some fresh air, and learn to WAIT like the rest of us have since they announced new server drops. Its no wonder the devs just drop and go silent, leaving the poor mods to deal with things.Its no wonder there's a 15 minute delay.

That has nothing to do with lack of pvp players, new maps are always capped. the problem with ark pvp is artifacts can be blocked off and there is no wipes making ark a prim lock sim on pvp, that's a wildcard issue not a pvp pop issue

Timers are usually set with a parameter in the configuration files.. are you sure that wasn't a parameter you should enter in a config file (game.ini or gameusersettings.ini) and set it to the number of seconds?

a server doesn't own anything so the paid DLC dinos have to spawn by default.
if you are on singleplayer there are mods to remove the paid dinos. (PC platforms can also use ini instead)

Snow shoes for deep snow and sleds for some creatures (hopefully a Megaloceros TLC) would be cool additions to Lost Colony, maybe something like an ice weapon similar to Fallout’s Cryolator. There’s also a large swathe of unique Arctic and Antarctic dinosaurs that can be added like Nanuqsaurus, Leallynasaura, Imperobator, Glacialisaurus, and Antarctopelta. Maybe an igloo that protects you from the elements and has stone durability but is easily destroyed by fire.

Actually a Yellowstone style hotsprings area could make for a good starter spot as the ground and water could be warm enough to support early game players.

i dont know why this happens but i cant play extinction longer than (max) 1 hour before the game starts to get pretty stuttery. And everytime i am looking into the taskmanager and how much RAM Ark (ASA) is using, i see that it is going down to 3GB (several times it was just 2.5gb)... already restarted the pc and the game several times.. since the exctintion update it is like that. And in no other game.

Gacha never needed pellets. Of course if they have pellets the quality of produced loot and the amount of mats inside the crystal will be slightly higher but you coul simply full a gacha of stone and wait for crystal to pop. Even if you give em pellets they will need something else to eat. The pellets is only consume to give a buff while gacha is eating

Ok, so gacha gavengers remove the "too close to same gender gacha" debuff.

Hmm, apparently the not eating thing has been around for 6 years, the only other troubleshooting i can find is.
If the gavager is turned on before the gacha is properly in place it can bug out, to fix it switch the gavager off, confirm the gacha is in the correct position and then turn the gavager on

yeah i dont know then, when you press feed, the gavanger automatically positions the Gacha so you can't adjust it. I'll try reloging or restarting the server in case it something to do with that

Yea it's stupid, even on ASE too many players caused Dino spawns to die.. ASA has the added extra of too many people and the render distance also lowers significantly. So there could be dinos but you have to be so close to them to see them

Land Claim block could be limited to 2 per tribe, this would alleviate the excessive pillaring and spawn blocking

It would also limit the size of bases thus allowing more players

Auto reboot every 4 hrs would clear cache and improve performance, it would also allow everyone even access (disconnecting people who camp )

4 hours isnt enough for big raids or boss rushes and would limit people's time frames by forcing them to play at the start of the reboot and some people cant spare a few hours as they have real life stuff. part fo ark's pvp is building small FOBs to help you raid a base. This would be removed by forcing people to build only where they have claimed. or even in PVE, Ark is a game where your location on the map matters for the collection of certain resources so people would want more than one base to feel safe halfway across the map

not how it works. the server still uses memory and CPU time with 0 players, there is a minimum. nitrado really rips people off on cluster costs, though, you are best off renting a baremetal dedicated game server with 48-64GB RAM and installing ark servers on it yourself
