Thats low, but Megatheriums on the island at good levels are a pain to find. You don't need a boss-runner quality Megatherium to run the cave. But you shouldn't be getting owned in the entrance either on a decent one.

Try the small tribes settings. Those are meant for a challenge. Just don't have SP mode on if you do change settings. The SP mode has hidden multipliers that jacks with your tuning.

Small tribe holiday is often 4.5x.

You can do or use a small stone pen with 2 stone stairs kite the therizino inside and you can tame it. It's a great dino on early game or kite some high level rexes, bring a pack with you because of alpha dinos

Beehives and bees can be tamed closed to green orb or in redwoods forest but only go to the forest after laying some sleeping bags along the way and with some decent dinos or the thyla can end your dreams I also advise you to lay a trap and try to kite them to tame because thyla is insanely good tame on early game

most fun?, I would say Extinction - wasteland with OSD drops that you basically defend to gain free loot, world bosses (no teleportation to arena) that r easy to spawn by just collecting the dino drops, a few different biomes that have it's own titans (that you can also ride and own) and dinos, and generally it's a very content-rich map that I absolutely love

Imma just only play the wild card maps they seem to run smoother than a third party map. aberration is living in a cave that's absolutely not friendly towards you, no flyers and the map is pretty dark-themed with earthquakes, failing ARK etc
Extinction is living on scorched earth that's infested with element-infused dinos that want to kill you and the city is your only safe place, do OSD's for loot, defeat or tame the 3 titans of each biome and eventually challenge the main boss which is the king titan

It's really personal preference, I love Aberration because of the way it immerses you in a failed ARK that's falling apart, but besides that I much prefer extinction due to it's rich content

I played for a few weeks on PC, but even with a fairly beefy PC, I still had a ton of graphical issues and the game would crash constantly if I attempted to walk into the denser jungle environments. If you spend enough time on ASA Community or this discord you'll also find people PvE or PvP that spawn in and discover someone put a trap box base over a player spawn, possibly just to steal trades.

Considering the state of art for most PvE and PvP bases is a bland box, also hard to tell a troll from an idiot from a bad builder from a griefer in Ark. They all have the same brand of suck.

It's kinda surreal to think how much Ark has changed/power creeped since launch.
At the start of 2015, if you were to spend 10 minutes farming / crafting Narcotics, maybe 1000 xp worth.
Now in the current Ark, during an event such as this, you can stack multipliers and easily get 1,000,000 xp in those 10 minutes via the same method.

It would be like getting a level 99 in Runescape which previous would take you 100 hours, in a grand total of 6 minutes.

OK this is an ark problem I have the BTT DLC, but it's malfunctioning.

I had the issue as well but tracked it down to my own impatience. If I went too fast and hit spawn before the bed list loaded then it would randospawn me instead. Idk if it's the same issue due to platform differences, but making sure the bed list is loaded before spawning helped me.

assuming nothing bugs, you should respawn at a bed woth your gear except any element on you. your dinos will tp back to the tek cave terminal

you have an unstable/failing GPU, almost guaranteed. that or something else is destabilizing it badly

are you using any modified config files or commands for the game? there are a number that could theoretically worsen the game's interaction with existing stability issues, or cause compatibility problems. a GPU freeze is usually not the result of the latter, though

Had something similare and while searching on the net i found a post of a dude saying it was an issue with the game not able to throttle the fps. I went in nvdia control panel and forced the fps there. Was crashing every 10 min and now no crashes in 7+ days

lowering your fps massively reduces load on your GPU, so, yeah, that will help prevent crashing a broken GPU

the game does have fps limiting built in, and it of course wont do anything if the GPU is already struggling to get decent performance

you dont get software compatibility issues causing driver crashes only at certain framerates. that is an assured hardware issue. all it means is you dont have any other games that load the hardware sufficiently - including ark after "fixing" it. just means your GPU is being mostly wasted.

try raw meat. in that cases (where you are not sure!) try force feeding them the meat and if the food goes up they eat it

if the error shows cfcore in the top of the stacktrace, that is the curseforge plugin shitting a brick. it happens, usually issues on their end/network

try to preinstall the mod, or wait

typically if it is a battleye issue, you get a notification that states it. VAC is irrelevant

it happened 10 months ago due to some services maintenance, which is scheduled for 3 days from now, just expect them to have borked the date and started it today. according to the post it should take 2 hrs and started at 6 am UTC, which is exactly when the errors started.

If you have the bobs tall tales dlc then you can make the clockface. It can boost production by 300% for a irl hour once every 7 hours. If you have a bunch of hives that can be a significant increase. Otherwise no there isn't anyway to make it faster on official servers. Another option is taking a bear to wild hives and you can harvest 15 honey directly with the paw swipe.

No iirc the swipe doesn't break the hive, you just get honey and are also immune to bees because of riding the bear.

Not afaik,but if you set the slider to it's lowest value they shouldn't damage structures at all. That could also just be the cave damage multiplier, but if it is a setting it should be a slider

I know those sliders are weird and sometimes misleading, but the player resistance and dino resistance make you/them immune to damage if you set them to 0. If it doesn't make it immune, try max slider.
