Yall im having an issue and need help. Im trying to play ark ascended and its gets me all the way into the offical server screen. I click on the server I wanna join and it says I need to install the summer bash and says press x to install. So I press x let it load and it gets to 100% and kicks me out. Sometimes it goes back to the server screen and says it’s downloading summer bash the. Kicks me out. Any ideas?

Lol definitely not, did this back the 2nd month of asa being out, my tribe would've killed him earlier but we went in 3 times with shotties and stego's but he was super glitchy back them. Out of bounds, invisible, the lot. So i raised a round of babies from the very start of my line and went in solo. It was the only time he wasn't invisible amd actually landed, 19 plus a yuty. 12 came out barely alive but they were bred just for that one fight. You don't NEED super duper top stat stuff to kill bosses, a good surround with them and keeping his attention on the yuty makes a huge difference. It's what we were doing back in the day on ase.

Is anyone else having issues with pyros? My husband owns the pyro pack and it worked for him at 1am est we just logged in at 10am EST and it says he needs to purchase the pyro pack to use. But when he goes to the pyro pack it says it's already owned. He's deleted all mods, restarted client, restarted console... I can still use them no problem so it's on his end rather than just the pyros in general

Since start actually. Their servers are not highest end. Cannot really handle alot. Plus ark has so many memory leaks and so badly optimized. Alot goes on in the arks and rhe cpus are just not good enough for it. Betting the servers are on thenlower end to keep costs down

Ok, I ran into something new I can't find any help on. My friend was playing around and somehow spawned primitive flaming fur. Can't do anything with it. Can't get rid of it or anything. I've tried clearing his inventory but it doesn't work. I got it to spawn and when I killed myself it went away. But when he gets killed by dinos server crashes. If I use kill comman server crashes, If he flies up high and falls to die Server crashes.

Basically when his character dies the server crashes and when it restarts the item is still on him. Anyone have any clues?

I think that's about right. If they were really being greedy they would have made a Maewing mod and an Incubator mod and charged $5 a month subscription to each of them. Don't know many serious players who wouldn't be happy to pay that.

You do not ever want to run the Island on Easy. I have video of my gamma tek cave fight from that in ASE. It was brutal. I had allos at like level 80 just getting eaten in a single bite by a Giga in a wall.

Never did the Extinction one, but learned the Island SE run for a private cluster.
You could hit about level 60 in 10 minutes just crafting thatch foundations. Assuming a raptor didn't get you.

Costmetic suits like the shark should be in your new survivor items you get when you die and respawn.

If you have that turned off, then you won't get it. So make sure that is on and respawn (I think transfer in a bed also works.)

If your dinos went into hibernation they didn't do any breeding. Even the catchup when comming out of hibernation won't help.

When a part of the map is put into hibernation the game stops processing a lot of things like spawns. This is helpful when taming dinos that are in hostile areas you don't want getting attacked.

The catchup is process that runs to 'fake' time passing when you come back. It mainly just screws you over on food by rotting your foods, emptying your feeding troughs then starving your tames.

The biggest thing is that even as a UE5 game it has some pretty beefy requirements for now. The update is supposed to make ASA more playable on lower-end systems.

By getting over 2 billions mutation mating two Dino's with 100 mutation (both have 100 mutation) will result in getting a baby with a total of 200 and then mating two with 200 to get 400 and like that untill you get over 2 billions (you can start it with 1 mutation in both parenta or 1k won't cause a difference but it may take longer to start with less) I don't think they are "clean" because the negative number are a glitch in the mutations counter because it programmed to 2 billion as a maximum any higher will cause to glitch and show a random long negative number

If you're on unofficial/singleplayer and have movement speed enabled, it will most likely be fine since you can outswim everything. I don't know how fast it is base speed (I haven't been on ark in a bit so i haven't checked it out, just going off of what I see here) but as long as you're not in a big fight you might be fine

…I figured I would go get started up on scorched and pay attention. In a total of 42 deaths I never spawned more than 500m and the only time I ever spawned somewhere else was when I had a bed down. Might be the map? Not sure if you’re talking about official or SP/unofficial, but this was official

In ASE I've never tried to exceed render distance, but I have run pipe on Genesis Part 2 all the way from the water trench up to the top of the spire, which is probably close to 100+ pipe lenghts.

Unilke ASA where water is wireless, a pipe just has a 'wet or not' status. There is no real water flow or pressure. It's just a check if it is connected to another wet pipe.

Swamp was pretty scarce, I rode around in circles on my frog for almost a day cycle and found none. Lost Island's swamp is pretty small so idk. I've had better luck finding a swarm here or there in the southern jungle region around the Green Ark but supposedly there is a "bug cave" nearby full of ants/mosquitos to kill?

I'm familiar with navigating ragnarok, it's just a pain in the butt to navigate through it. Lot of absurdly uneven terrain.

Also for such a big map, it felt pretty empty as I cleared through it. The best thing I can say about my experience clearing it, is that all the alpha trophies were very easy to get because it's such a big map that like 3 alphas will spawn in the same field.

So, does anyone know how to find a previously played server? I went to the .ini files and none of them are the server I played, it looks like they havent even updated my "auto-favorite list" in weeks.

I had an inventory bug, where it wouldn't let me open any of my containers, (yes, on an unofficial modded server) so I relogged without screen-shotting the server name. Now I can't find it, I use the filter by mod search(ironic, considering we can't even filter by frequently or recently played, nor literal favorite flagged) and have tried over a dozen servers, none of them that show are even the server I just played earlier today. What's with this game of server hide and seek? I even tried reconnecting to EVERY server on the list, and every time I search or refresh the server list, even under the same filter search, the list changes. What gives? Why is wildcard hiding our servers from us?

As more maps out then they can add things like Season Passes and map pack deals. Right now you've only got the base game, one free DLC map (with mandatory pvp p2w creature) and one paid DLC map (plus optional fancy skins and creature).

Actually, I would not be surprised if eventually there are going to be 3rd party modpacks you can buy to get all sorts of stuff. Like a big featured water tames pack or flyers pack. All it takes is proper content licensing on the back end and none of that is new for game mods.

I am unaware of any without searching for them, but nothing stopping someone selling a premium map. There was a big project in ASE for a paid-for map based on Gen 2 content that didn't get out before the effective end of Evolution.

Well, whistle groups and using the hotkeys.

You have to break them up into two, three or more groups and send then out then pull back in.

Mostly you want to do that with the broodmommy to ensure good spread of megatheriums killing spiderlings for that crazy bug buff.

for the beta and alpha dragon, they are so friken large you can just stick everything under neath him and use your ridden dino to keep them spinn' while being tickled to death.

If you check the wheel of options on a individual creature there are two options: add type of creature to a control group and add this creature to a control group. You want the later one.

If you look in your groups the individual creatuers will show up in the list instead of the type once you have done it correctly.
