yea, it was on a server i owned (but it had like 16gb ram, 10 mods, and 3 players so that shouldn't have been an issue). We no longer have the server since the host deleted everything without warning and we had it paid up for like 6 months (not nitrado, a VPS).

nah, pvp is fairly unplayable if you join anything that isnt arkpocalypse. just about every server including the unpopulated ones is turret spammed by the singular large tribe on the server, every note boxed off, and gunboats everywhere, alongside fairly toxic large groups, atleast with arkpocolypse the game is playable for a few days before groups take hold. if you want pvp just buy rust

i reccomend temptress lagoon, its by no means a finished product, but its got a nice rough layout and its a fairly pretty map so far, other than that, the additions ascended collection is a safe bet, as is a alternative cryo pot bod since the base game ones suck. extra tranq levels and dino hunger drug mods are also useful

also, depending on the experience you want, you might boost rates, if you enjoy being scrappy and feeling like an invader in an ecosystem, go with base rates, but if you want guns and stuff quickly, make sure to boost those, play around with em and find something that feels right for you. you can find all the rates in the settings section when in the singleplayer map select. theres a lot of em so make sure to get a feel for those as well

oh ermm, not really, just start with clean paired unimprinted un levelled breeder dinos ,
, then i make sure male an female all have same level an stats .
write the stats on a sign ,so like if my rexes are level 225
any mutated baby will be 227 or 229(if was super lucky for double mut).
its easy to track then ,
each mutation adds 2 levels , so next i breed my 227 male with the 225 females
look for a baby 229 or above,
check that 229 baby has , the mutation in the right stat
etc etc

If you need fps boosts, then turning those off might help a bit.
If you don't need the fps boost, then you can switch off whatever you want according to your likes.
Eg, I play SP on the XSX so I turned off Motion Blur n Film Grain coz they annoy me but I left on the others coz it makes the game look nice for me. I don't really care for the high fps so yeah. That's just me. Put them off one by one n see what works for you

I've had much experience with dimorphs. I've even brought then through Tek Cave. They can handle anything that isn't the giga, but they didn't have insane mutation stacks, so I wasn't surprised that the Tek cave giga deleted them

what i do is switch gfx to windowed mode (not windowed full screen) and selext the proper resolution for your monitor, then swich back to full screen hardware rendering to fix it. its still a lil buggy even after all these years.. you may have to apply a few diff scrrensizes while in windowed mode, then finally settle on your correct resolution and save/apply settings each time, iirc
(also be sure to have the latest updated gfx drivers for your vid card installedcan help)

transfers allow items, dinos and survivors to go between servers/maps depending on whats enabled (those 3 are what is enabled/disabled)

for officials its the groups, PvE to PvE, smalls to smalls, etc. there will also be non-transfer PvP servers I believe that is only for survivors(if it works the same as ASE anyway)
