Can't seem to find an answer on this. If you take a rex with 100melee mutations. and breed it with another rex from a different line that also has 100 melee mutations. do you get a rex with 200 melee mutations? levels and everything not just increase in the counter?

Petition: Allow for another studio/publisher to buy WC/SG and acquire the rights to ARK and the team members working on the development of the franchise. SG being in such hot water financially will spell doom for the franchise if left unchecked, so it is in best interest to transition to an alternative to ensure the continuation of ASA, ARK 2, expansions, other future titles, etc. This will benefit those working on ARK by allotting them more resources and man-power, and it will benefit the community by upgrading the quality, frequency, and quantity of ARK content. The 4060 on average is only 18% better than the 3060, which in no way shape or form justifies the poor performance on both cards for ASA. Certainly not the extreme price difference between the two

I actually don't recommend theri strategy atm. we went in with 9 players, 6 Rhinos, 2 Theris and 1 deer. We all had max dmg shotguns with 500 ammo each.
Dragon was super bugged, as it never landed, so our tames did no damage at all. We killed it with shotguns only and that took about 19min of non-stop shooting. It actually landed once when we had only 6:30min left, but it was so close to death, that it couldn't even do anything to us.

Glitches of the week

  • Tamed a Dino on a raft, when it was done it teleported back to carno island and I had to sail back to get it
  • keep crashing into other rafts with my raft cause they render so late and so suddenly
  • cross bow glitch still going strong
  • my neighbors land Dino’s be flying
  • raft appears in a different spot than it actually is making it impossible to drive or walk on. Relog or destroying nearby rocks fixes
  • structure decay fix made the timers in the thatch base spam near my base go back up to max 🥲

You generally don't. The game tries to safe guard from slot capping your inventory because when you slot cap your inventory you can actually end up losing items.

P.S. NEVER transfer when your inventory is slot capped when transfer become available. You will lose something 100% of time.

Is anyone else having issues with dinos not attacking? I will have my basil behind me on either Aggresive/Attack my target and he will just stand there and take the hits. Won't attack back. Drive me crazy cause back in ASE I had no trouble making sure they attacked back. All on same whistle group

i dont think arks stat fps works properly because its only showing like 35-40fps for me but when i use geforce experience its saying 65-75 fps and the game definitely doesn't look like 35-40 fps.

I don’t think that’s necessary. Just a 4x8 Dino gateway would be fine along with what we have already. Just an in between of the small and behemoth gateway. I’ve always wanted it in ase ever since rexes couldn’t fit in small gateways.

This still happens constantly. Return to a base on a mount and can't interact with anything once it hits the base draw range. Need to log out to fix it. Just happened in the ocean and lost an otter to megs due to this bug. Very frustrating. Happens all the time.

Has anyone else notoced a bug with in-game chat? I noticed that I was only seeing 1 half of a conversation on my account (I will see 1 person talking and resppnding to nothing but no replies) but my wife is seeing the whole conversation.

multiple people talk and I cant even see that anyone has said anything, no names pop up, no blank messages.. chat doesnt even pop up.

Does anyone know a fix for this? It is really annoying as people reply to me ans I can't even see that they have said amything and it makes me look rude for not answering them.

It has been happening since day 1, i can confirm from watching the chat on my wifes accout that it is always the same people i cannot see every message they type no matter what it is or when they send it my chat just doesnt react in any way.

But when other people put messages up my vhat responds normally.

It is really frustrating as before i realised this by watching my wifes account and seeing on her screen someone talking to me that i couldnt see on mine I just assumed these 1 sided conversations were someone replying globally to people on local chat.

The one thing I like that wild card did to ASA which wasn't in ASE is that the increased the height of the walls and every other building material to the point you can do something extra.

I built my base house the same way as usual same dimensions and everything but thanks to the new heights of every wall, ceiling and pillar I was able to make something I couldn't before. Usually there is a large gap that you can walk through in the bottom of my house on ASE but on asa the building materials are so relaxed that I was able to build a full-on basement where that was. Something I can never do before and I love it! Much more better use of the space

If we do not get cryos by the event, it's going to be very difficult for the event to not be a complete disaster. I know many people that want specific colors and want to be breeding etc during events that physically won't be able to due to these server cap issues. Are we going to get information somewhat soon about how cryos are going?

cryos isnt the answer for server tame cap, think of it this way, you cryo your ownly fliers, some small/medium tribes pop some eggs for upcoming event and now all ur fliers are locked in cryos and ur stuck lmfao, cryos will help sure but mostly larger tribes, in general though alot of people havent hit tame cap so its a server cap issue and cryos wont be unlocking because for every 5 tribes at tame limit another 10/20 others arent and will be tamining/mass breeding lol

also maybe allowing character only transfers to be possible in a way that a person can move their level'd character to a less full server while wiping whatever they have built/tamed/items as a way to help rebalance populations since the issue of people not wanting to remake a character that have fallen behind and have no room to expand/play on the full beginning servers or if they were console and saw the mistaken server pop stat that read like 50/70 when its really 70/70 and started in a already full area because they dropped new servers hrs after release both for xbox and ps

I have been getting complaints from several players now about the underwater artifact cave having a ridiculous amount of dinos in it and wiping them with no chance of getting the artifact. Anyone know why and how this can be fixed. One guy just posted a pic of the cave on your server loaded, and one pic from another server where it looks empty

Ideally you'd only breed clean females first, and have as many as possible before you start with mutations. Just set your mutated males to the side, and re-breed clean females with a clean male that has your highest base stats.

well the giant tree. towards that oblisk. theres the castle on the hill. then the grassy area where theres the valleys. theres a half circle stone viking structure with a arch entryway. and a statue. inside there theirs ample space to build and to the inside at the back theres a cave you can door off. has crystal. water. and some dinos inside.
