yeah its a windows program that is used for breeding, works with the tame export. As it is now you can generally get dinos with higher stats potential, because those extra stats will have to go somwhere.

It's a controller UI bug, you have to plug in a mouse and waggle it to see cuddle food text right now. Stupid issue and stupid workaround, but it does work.

It’s probably a defect with the game. I always had system issues with single player saves on ASE where I’d lose progress. Seems like a pattern with the remastered game as well.

The Xbox save data thing, per some reddit discussions, seems to be tied to dino overpopulation. If you do a destroywilddinos and wait a few seconds before saving, people have said that it makes it reliably work again. Alternatively, you can change the dino spawn multiplier (e.g. down to 0.5) to more permanently deal with it for now

So I had an issue that I couldn't place a Blueprint Station from a Upgrade Station mod. After positioning the green thing and left clicking it just didn't place.

Turned out when I logged out to reinstall the mod to see if that fixed it that my Upgrade Station mod was out of date...how the hell was I online with an out of date mod? Also after updating the mod how was I able to log into the same server? One of the 2 should of caused a mod mismatch right???

1. "Stats Per Level" is the amount that each stat is increased per POINT SPENT BY PLAYER on that stat. (Does not effect amount of stat gain caused by the act of taming)
2. "Add Per Level" is the amount that each stat is increased UPON TAMING per stat level. (IE. The stat value difference between a wild dino with 1 point in HP vs. a tamed dino with 1 point in HP)

Is that correct? That is what my testing showed, despite the naming and the tooltips seeming to be backwards.... so then, WTF is Stat Affinity? The tooltip makes it sound identical to "Add Per Level"

How do you guys deal with arthropleura in swamp cave? I don't have any decent shotgun yet, so I can't dispatch it fast enough in order to not lose my source of poison prevention. So either I go in with multiple sets of scuba/ghille/gas masks or perhaps I can get in with multiple dinos (such as mate boosted sabertooths or Giganotosaurus), is there some other strategy that I'm missing?

hmm... I could go in with just two sets of low level ghille + a couple scuba maks and enough mats to repair them 🤔 could be smarter than multiple gas masks or scubas in which I can't repair. Plenty of spare med brews and couple enduro stews so I can survive even if all scuba masks breaks

I know you PS people are excited for the launch, but I would highly suggest you temper your expectations. Due to the sheer volume of new players, severs are going to crash. Repeatedly. Servers are going to roll back. Your experience is not going to be flawless. I don't even think PS5 is going to have the same release version that plagued people with the join failures. Not sure you'll even be able to play on official servers till the patch they have planned is released.

Xbox has had and may still have issues saving their single player games. Due to the announcement for the launch of PS including a note that they're behind on patches, I wouldn't be surprised if you can't save your game properly.

Some maps have a really early bug that causes a massive black hole at 50x50. The middle of the map. Structures, and wild dinos, and some of your dinos if they disappeared will be floating around in the air at 50x50. I've heard it called the black hole bug. That could steal eggs maybe? It's more common on modded unofficial servers from what I understand though.

Consoles have access to the console so you can perform ini tweaks. You can disable the sky. Shadows, lumen, ect. You can make Xbox get 70 fps. It's just how much do you want to degrade the graphics.

I use a 4090 with a 9900ks. I run all epic settings at 4k. With Frame Generation enabled I get 60-80 fps. However Frame Generation is causing the GPU driver to crash. Which in turn causes the game to crash with a fatal error. Turning off Frame Generation can fix this. However without Frame Generation the performance is sub 30 fps.
