Please address the issue of Dino’s becoming stuck in the floor. Bases have to be partially demo’d to retrieve them. They cannot be mounted, picked up with a flyer, or whistled out.

I don't think it would, I think it only fills in frames that are missing from your set frame rate. it wouldn't lessen the work done, only makes up frames between the work that's being done to reach your cap

there is probably an enemy bed near you. If it is a raft try moving the raft away to a place without any bases/rafts. Also when you respawn make sure you select the "Beds" tab

Your friends got in because they continually hit refresh and join. So when someone crashes you are in line to take the crashed persons spot. May take awhile but it works.

you can still self host your own dedicated servers as long as it is not for commercial purpose. For commercial purposes you need to use nitrado or adquire a license from them.

If they need to push it back, I'm sure they'll update us. You can see the issues they are currently working on. There is crossplay intended, so I'm sure a lot of what they are dealing with involves both the steam and console teams. I think things are pretty clear as to what they are working on and why they'd want to delay console launch if they do. They launched steam version when they did due to contractual obligations and console release could be a bit more smooth. I don't think you can just release multiple patches per day on console like you can with steam.

Yeah, it's likely the right and final store ID and may be able to auto-update to "the real thing" once "the real thing" is available. Hard to say for sure since it isn't attached to a license or actual game data yet.

I think a PS5 or Xbox is around the equiv of a 3060. If it can do FRS or DSLL, it might avg 30-45 fps. I cluster 5 ASE servers on one machine with a lot of ram, clustering them is pretty easy. Same command parameters for ASA too.

Considering this book (nitrado) has full monopolisation. Nitrado has an exclusivity deal that prevents any other server host from even attempting to compete. The official dedicated server software also only allows 1 server per steam account and you can't play and host at the same time stopping you from hosting yourself. This is 100% monopolization. This basically means they can do whatever they want and people wouldn't have any alternatives since they can't even host their own dedicated servers. Would be funny if steam threatened to kick them off the store for it and they had to rework their contracts.

You run a server for each map and then cluster them together. It's a pretty manual process without 3rd party tools
