I think you're right, once again Australian ark players shafted. Oh there's many ways to make things harder. Drop player stats down, buff wild Dino stats, drops xp gains down to .50 or .25.

Also as for small stuff like saddle durability? Since native mod support is here, I suspect small mods will surface shortly after release to address these things.
