The game will be going much longer between console updates. Steam will get fixed faster. Here are some of the tips and tricks I have found surfing google and discords regarding Ark Survival Ascended. I hope that they may help you.

1 ---- ASA Settings for FPS

Go to YouTube, search for a video titled 'Dramatically increase FPS in ARK Survival Ascended' by Apex

2 ---- Someone said, 'And a quick tip for everyone with a RTX Card, enable DLSS in RTX settings and type the command 'dlsvideo 2' (1-performance, 2-balanced, 3-quality, 4-ultra quality)' < not sure if that will help you guys.

3 ---- Regarding character creation crashing: 'type -dx11 into advanced launch settings in steam properties'

4 ---- someone posted this, not sure if this will help anyone..

Its barely been out 24hrs and you guys are all crying.. I am on pc and yes it isn't really viable to play on official but within the next few days they will take your crybaby reports and fix things as they go. I mean, they've literally done at least 3 updates already.. as for console, they don't have control over when it's released realistically.. they submit a build of the game to xbox/PS and they do a lot of hard testing to see if its ready. If it fails cert(ification) they have to fix it. All the issues on pc that are being fixed (the major ones) have to be added and resubmitted for cert. Half of the shit you said makes no sense. Consoles run the equivalent of a 2070super (5 year old+ GPU), and it’s still running games just like it does on pc. My friend is running ark on a 1650 super and has been running games on his around 7 year old GPU perfectly fine. Upgrading every year is completely optional. My 4080 will be better than next years 5060 😂 so it doesn’t work the way you think it does.

And here’s what happens. Basically, your game won’t even look half as good as it does on PC. Also, to my knowledge, console still doesn’t have adjustable graphics settings in any game. I’d sure hope the game is optimized by the time it releases on console.

It’s an MMO running UE5. MMO as it is is very taxing let alone at this level of graphical power, build systems, AI, etc.. it’s actually impressive and will be incredible when they get it smoothed out. It’s early access. It has a big ass warning on the steam page that says “hey, this game is not comple and shit will break and it’s a running project” and people sign up for it yet still complain. Give it time and let them iron out the bugs or people can go play other games that aren’t early access if they don’t wanna deal with issues. @valid mica that’s my rig too and turning on ddls helps.
