By what metric are they doing great at exactly? So far every server we spun up and built on died, we have no communications what so ever, and nitrado is a mess. How are they doing 'great'? So far this has been an average release for Snail/Wildcard which is a complete shitshow with no communications as they grab millions which we willingly give. That's the only metric they are doing great at the moment.

Yes it is. I have a 3060 with a AMD Ryzen 5 CPU and I can run it fine on low settings. Game still looks amazing on low settings, like you can't even tell you're on low settings. My only issue is literally all of the official servers are full due to the stupidly low 70 players cap, and the server I'm playing on, NA-PVE-TheIsland5176 keeps crashing every 30-40mins.

I was REALLY looking forward to ASA, couldnt even play other games how exicted i was.. But the thing we got is a disaster..
Im not gonna mention the low FPS and bad optimalization at all. This is my honest opinion about ASA..
Comparasion ASA vs ASE:

Pros+
Quality of life - There are multiple features that we miss in ASE and that make life in ASA much more easier, in ASE these things would be fixed by Mods or not at all, people got used to them..

Better models (some) - Some models in ASE were really outdated, they did change them a little bit in ASA and made them more apealing.

Water update - This is probably the biggest change in ASA i really love. Not that just the water looks amazing but underwater looks even better, its really cool to dive in and explore the ocean without it being dark and empty space..

Night - finally visible and it looks really good

CONS-
Graphics - For the cost of bad optimalization the graphics and the models dont look that great. Models are way too clean to the point u can question a lot of things and the graphics are just bit better (more realistic) and there isnt that many empty places the island is overgrown with vegetation which makes the graphics look better but they really arent. Old ASE had this special style which ASA lacks, ASA is using typical UE5 models and graphics which u see in every other game... They made the graphics look more realistic but that doesnt make them better..

Shadows - They are bit clunky at times

Brightness - Can really just ruin ur expirience of seeing something, ASE had same problem with the sun u couldnt look at it, but ASA bcs of UE5 has this problem even on surficases where something like ICE glows..

Quality of life - Even tho i mentioned this in PROS these things could have been easily done in ASE and they made us pay for it.. RLLY ?? They couldnt update the UI and some things SMALL THINGS in game all this time ?..

First person - Is unplayable because of grass.. Never thought in my life i would need to point this out.. If u play 1st person u gonna gen smacked in the eyes by grass NONSTOP, its not even funny and u see SH...T. Grass makes 75% of ur height even when u take the highest character.. It cost FPS and it makes the game worse WOW what a feature.. BTW i fell from a cliff because i couldnt see through the grass...

Realistic everything ?? - Dinos if u compare them look almost the same but in ASA thanks to the models they look creapier, more prehistoric and realistic BUT not as good as in ASE (some of the look alr) for me its a downgrade for some. Im playing ARK because its fun and NOT realistic, i dont wanna play realistic survival game where models look like eww..

First loaded in game was very stuttery with about 30ish frames. Tried to set my graphics to medium. Messed around with putting some settings at medium and high, turned off light blooms and light shafts, and set a frame rate cap at 50. I now get consistent 40-50 fps. Card is maxed out though, but that's expected. However, the game doesn't look particularly great. If the lighting was not so bright it would look a lot better. DLSS set to performance. 1080p monitor.

RTX3040 no issues for me on whatever the default gfx settings are on start... so far. Standard frame rate and audio jank at spawn but then its fine. Played about 30 minutes, punched a Dodo, a tree. jumped a lot, killed some Dilos. The creature sound updates are awesome.

Why would you guys skimp on servers? There are so few pvp servers and they are all full excpet a couple of OC -230 ping servers. Please bring more servers. ORP is a major need and you guys know hundreds of players want it or at least be able to play the game we paid for unless this is a ploy by snail to get more people to buy private servers from the monopoly...
