honestly i wouldnt care if it got delayed however long it needed to be but thats if we were told the truth. like maybe a message saying "there will be a delay of 2 days" then we get it in 2 days instead of this every hour "there has been a delay but we should release in an hour" and then a full stop of announcements which just leads us to thinking they no longer are worrying about informing us about any delays since they no longer know how much time it will even take.

There’s well over $3M WildCard is just letting sit here in suspense. Not smart for a studio that is still relatively small and a publisher that’s in massive debt. As a dev myself I am embarrassed for you guys and as an Ark lover of many years I really hate to see you guys fumble the bag like this. If you would at least keep us posted on the issues there wouldn’t be this much backlash. We have all cleared our schedules in excitement due to us all love the game you have made and to be seemingly lied to with no explanation from the ones who we respect for creating our beloved pastime, is very disheartening. I hope nothing catastrophic happened there at the studio or on steam’s end but we would appreciate some sort of update on the situation and not left in the dark. I’m still looking forward to playing the game as many of us are but with this initially supposed to be a free update and now it is a full game we have to pay for, lots of players will be putting Ark down until Ark 2 and it’s sad to see but our community has been disappointed too often. I love you guys and everything you do, just wish we weren’t left in the dark.

Relax guys. Launches are never smooth, especially not for netcoded games. WC is basically just watching a progress bar at this point. How quickly Steam compiles ASA is totally out of their hands. I remember seeing ark for the first time on the xbox store in 2015 and didn't like the pictures it reminded me of one of those japanese games, but it ended up being the best of those games. Even my friend was juding me for playing it so much after I said I wouldn't like it. I can't wait to play more ark, I feel pretty good
