I mean, I don't mind creatures that can dismount you. But microraptors are such a pain. Once they start circling, you're just screwed. They are too small to effectively attack and you just have to take it. So you're stunned....and here comes a carno.

Honestly, I think dismounting should be more of a thing because dinos make you virtually invincible -- especially top tier flyers. But you have to allow people to mitigate if they are paying attention or quick.

My worst hardcore Ark death involved two Kapros and two Barys. I was on a Wyvern and clearing low level creatures to get a high level Bary. I bit down on a Bary and I guess I moved one pixel into the water because it tail swiped me. OK, manageable. Stun wears off and I book it to the shore. Kapro grabs me and takes me into the water again. Kill with sword. Tail swipe by Bary. Stunned again. Get out of water. Another Kapro grabs me. Rinse repeat and death. This was in the swamp on Northeast sector of Lost Island.

But just one pixel in the water and a Wyvern on passive and things went....awry.

its a new engine so from what has been seen in UE5 the mechanics of the world will be different, we will have less movement speed cant become the flash anymore with 300% movement speed and no cryopods so its like the old ark when ark was initially released. Imo ur opinion if u wanna get it but im super hyped to be able to play what ASE was on launch again
