the issue isnt the transferring at base, its the fact that obelisks save before the game itself does, so if you download a dino and the game crashes then you just lose the dino. same applies with items, but less common and doesnt suffer the "no space found. dino deleted" thing

I guess I couldn't say I voluntarily play on any canon map beside The Island. I did like Gen 2 with the base tek suit they give. Only thing I ever did on Gen 1 was to go to lunar for element dust and the one time I did the boss fight there just to say I did it.

I perferred maps like Rag, Crystal Isles, Extinction, Valguero, and The Lost Island made it to this list for me but mainly because of the Sino and 5 castle ruins on it

Considering it been months sense I touched Ark cause I am waiting for ASA as it going to be a massive improvement

Health is the only thing better on a rex and that based on wild stats, Spino have better damage, are a lot faster especially in water, and if you breed them for health mutation the health gap is closed and can be exceeded.

Takes some time for a respawn to happen. Day/night cycle speed shouldn't affect it. Leave the area for a while and come back

As starter you can use Casteroides (beaver) for wood, Doedicurus for stone, and Anky for metal.
If you also want thatch, you can use a Trike's charge to go through trees

It won’t affect anything. You don’t even need to mess with the temperature

It’ll incubate anything regardless of temp, finding the proper temp for an egg just speeds up the hatch time by 20%

you can hold R to teleport between different worlds, runes are small things around the map that act like explorer notes and fenrir is the final boss but you need to get the tributes from the small bosses from it kinda like overseer

the runes are basically fjordurs version of explorer notes, there are bosses all 3 island bosses, 3 Nordic themed bosses you can fight with Hati and Skaal, Steinbojrn and Beyla and the final big boss of the map Fenrir and the realms are the different places you can teleport to they're basically extra parts of the map sort of like how in gen 1 there's multiple different maps you can teleport to there's asgard where you can fight hati and skaal while also getting lighting wyverns, rock drakes, gas bags and shadowmanes, there's Jotunheim where you can get ice wyverns and fight steinbjorn but be warned it's the coldest place in the game by far and Vanaheim where you can get poison wyverns and not much else

If you collect 100 runes you got +5 level, 200 runes +10 level. To beat boss spider gorilla dragon you need relics from mini boss and tributes and artefacts, to summon mini boss you need collect runestone from alpha dino. To get fenrir, you need fight fenrir, tribute all trophy from spider gorilla dragon boss.
