Gates don’t usually snap in vanilla. I believe there’s some advanced building tricks to force it to snap though.

I breed to get males for desired stat.
If male has female mutation i kill it.

it doesn't matter, it will be switched to the male side in the babies after it grows and you start using it for breeding

Basically, as long as you only replace the male then you can mutate indefinitely. Or up to 254 in a stat because Ark coding doesn't like 255+.
After 20 mutations though, your mutation rate is cut in half since you won't get any more chances off your male side

I use personal grave mods so i can get my loot back

Following up on my advice request from last night: My modded singleplayer Aberration file started lagging < 1 FPS when it has been running smoothly previously (I was playing it on Monday, it was unplayable on Tuesday).
I didn't change any mods recently, so is this likely to be a memory leak? I've had experience with those from modded Minecraft. Do I have to hose the entire file and start over? :/ I was making progress on mutation stacking and rock drake acquisitions, so I'd like to know if y'all have any suggestions to save my file.

imprint doesn't go to the offspring, it shouldn't matter if its unclaimed or not. imprint does increase that dinos stats tho.

Ya that would be because it has a 55% chance to get the higher stats. So there is a chance your baby gets all the high stats. Or there's a lower chance it gets none of them.

Of course your usually gonna get a mix of higher and lower stats. Just gotta pay attention to them to know if the new baby should be a breeder or if it's worse than your current breeder of the same sex

I usually use the name of the dino to save the stats I want in it.
So I might name my new breeder rex h8240 m345 so I can see its original health and melee while it's in cryo

The level distribution on the first 4 story maps is bugged and will show lower levels way more than high levels, changing the difficulty itself will not fix it. You can either fix it using a mod, like Custom Dino Levels, or use a longer ini config to overwrite spawns.

The max level is the highest level of dino you will see on the map, this is a consequence of the difficulty that has been set. This is set using the slider in singleplayer or by changing the game settings in the ini files under a heading such as OverrideOfficialDifficulty=5 , where a setting of 5 will result in a max level of 150 (the default found on official servers). When difficultyOffset=1, this means creatures you encounter will be found at levels that are of a multiple of 5, starting from a minimum level of 5 and a maximum level of 150.
Level distribution is the frequency at which you will encounter different ranges of levels. On The Island, using default settings, you are going to see a lot more creatures from the lower level ranges (i.e. 5-30) than you will the higher level ranges (i.e. 120-150). This is a skewed probability distribution and it has been done on purpose for the sake of game balance.
The link above for "Level Equalizer" will change the probability distribution of the levels of wild creatures that you will encounter, it will remove the skew favoring the lower level ranges. It will make the probability of you encountering a level 150 creature as likely as encountering a level 5 creature. This will change the balance of the game but it will make finding high level creatures on official maps such as the island a lot less painful

i think you need a tame (mammoths, trikes and iguanadons) and you just harvest tons of berries with them until you get some seeds, they spawn in the mountains, then you plant them

The way I know of obtaining Rockcarrots is you have to Grow them… you will find seeds from some of the plants you pick or alternatively use a Dino and you will find them easier… you’ll then need a crop plot with water or irrigation and some sort of fertiliser… and that’s how I and I believe most obtain Rockcarrots 👍🏼
