Alright guys here is my plan on beating the aberration map, and I need someone to review my plan.
Alright so right now I picked up a lvl 140 rockdrake egg with my lvl 158 aberrant megalosaurus which deals 500 damage per bite and has over 10k hp and made it alive to my base in the green zone.
Now what I am going to do is that in order to hatch the rockdrake egg I am going to tame 2 high lvl dimetrodons so incubate the egg. I am going back to the red zone with my megalosaurus to harvest red gems in order to craft a rockdrake saddle. I will raise and imprint my rockdrake baby and when it will be fully grown up I will go find a max lvl reaper queen (150), trap it (you’ll see why later), and get pregnant from it. I will kill as much dinos as possible to exp the baby during gestation and get the 75 extra levels. When I will give birth to it I will intentionally let him kill me so he can eat me and get some meat. I will raise and imprint him. Then I will go to the surface with my rockdrake and try to collect ascendent shotgun or blueprint and ascended hazard gear too. I will repeat the reaper process 17 times, that’s why I trapped the reaper queen, to get impregnated 18 times in total to have an army of 18 reaper kings for alpha Rockwell bossfight, as 20 tames are allowed and I will bring a light pet and my rockdrake to shoot the tentacles from its back. I will exp them all to lvl 313 (max lvl) and exp my rockdrake to max lvl (228) or try to get a better rockdrake (maybe find a lvl 180 or 190 egg to have the best rockdrake possible, raise it, imprint it and exp it to max lvl). I will also try to find a lvl 150 bulbdog (I have found a 138 in nature and tamed it already but I was a max wild lvl to get it to lvl 238 to have a load of charge for alpha Rockwell, mine is sitting at maybe 1458 max charge). I will prepare over 1k shotgun shells too for the bossfight and ascend to extinction. What do you think of my plan ?

A 140 drake egg is very low, if 2 dimetrodons can hatch a drake egg I will eat a hat, a reaper baby won't gain any food from your meat, 18 reapers for alpha rockwell is completely unnecessary, finding max level lightpets in the time it will take to accomplish everything else in your plan is very trivial

The reason I refute the rendering thing is because of a moment of absolute blind rage I had when a queen got stuck in an extended flee mode in a trap I had down where she spawned.

Ended up getting picked by a megalo, and was peeved about losing a 145 queen on an official server. When I went back for my kit, she was still there, and I was the only one on the server.

From then we used to manipulate that by teleporting the queens where they spawned into our base solo before they patched that on Gen1's release.

TLDR: This game is goofy and many times inconsistent.

I will add that, out of render they can desync visually in a trap. So, they'll be in their buried mode and be invisible, but still out of the ground.

I believe so. If you can’t use it it would be blacked out still. We came across this on my last playthrough. What we did was remove the Nitrado give all engrams setting do a restart, ensure they’re blacked out and install the auto engram mod. It doesn’t do this with tekgrams, plus it runs better. We had performance issues when people leveled to fast while we were using the server setting for engrams.

Best map for gameplay and excitement is ab, but it has no flyers. Best fliers is kinda debatable. If you’re looking for speed a saddled space dolphin. Trope are good too. If you’re looking for power a wyvern.

Actually, you don't. Have a tek suit on at minimum the pants. In the room you plan to birth your reaper, before the baby pops, have around 800 metal in your pocket. Once the baby pops out of your chest claim it, then power walk to get it to kill you. Once it kills you it picks up what's in your pocket. The metal will make it too heavy to move. Respawn. Then enter the room and pod the baby. You can then unpod it without it attacking anything and raise on a Maewing as normal. This is the method I have always used and it has always worked for me.

It is, just crafting the saddle of a Tapejara is a waste of ressources on its own, as argentavis saddle is unlockable 7 levels later and is just better. Argentavis has a reduction of 50% on each important ressources (metal, obsidian, crystal, stone etc), plus the argy saddle once equipped acts like a smithy, so your argentavis is basically a flying smithy. Plus it can carry animals such as deodicurus for stone runs and ankylosaurus for metal/crystal/obsidian/flint runs. Argentavis is just BETTER, and it’s literally 7 levels after tapejara saddle. Plus argentavis is ideal for killing creatures such as rexes and large creatures, have great stamina and have a 16 second regen boost after eating a dead body. @short sequoia

And Michael I was like the slayer, on my first adventure on the island I wanted a Tapejara real bad because of the same reason as Slayer, their weight. I crafted a saddle for it (which is more expensive than the argentavis one), bolas, tranqs and went on a quest to make one mine. I got on my spino and went looking for one. I found one, bola it, tranq it, and gave it some raw prime meat to tame. Then an alpha carno popped outa nowhere and killed my spino, me and the taming Tapejara. I lost all my stuff and my mount and my future mount. Then I knew about the argentavis, and I completely forgot about the tapejara.

It will pick up what's in your pocket regardless. I usually have 1200 metal ingot in my pockets with a stack of meat when I have a baby kill me and it will pick it all up even if the baby reapers base carry weight is less than 800.

Yeah, unless your Reaper is close to death. Less time to kill enemy Reapers is probably better than taking more damage from them. In the fight you want to keep moving as much as possible, so killing Reapers quickly is important
