you need a rhyniognatha pheromone (you kill one to get it) and then you feed it to a creature around the same size or bigger than a trike, you then lead a female rhyniognatha over to it and lower its health to 10% and it’ll impregnate it

• Step 3: Lower her health.
• Step 4: Use a pheromone on your chosen host creature.
• Step 5: Watch as the insectoid gives the poor beast the death sentence by injecting an egg into it.

There are three factors that further effect the level of the baby that comes out.

Step 1: Kill a Rhynio of any gender to acquire the pheromones.
Step 2: Find high level female (Rhynios spawn in the swamps of The Island and Lost Island).
Step 3: Lower her health.
Step 4: Use a pheromone on your chosen host creature.
Step 5: Rhynio will do a special sting animation, injecting an egg into the host. (One Rhynio can be used multiple times.)

There are three factors that further effect the level of the baby that comes out.

Egg Quality: Depends on the level of the Rhynio that impregnated your creature. A max level is required for 100%.
Host Size: Depends on the drag-weight of the creature used.

Bronto. (Apparently got all cravings most consistently before larvae emerged, potential best host?)
Gigano.
Carcha.
Megachelon.
NOTE: Aquatics and Astrocetus cannot be fed pheromones.
Craving Satisfaction: Depends on you feeding the impregnated creature things it wants to eat.
Host will require five cravings to be fully satisfied, time between cravings is effected by egg hatch speed.
Craving foods can be given to a host by simply pressing the basic interaction button (E on keyboard, Y on Xbox etc) if desired food is in your inventory. If this is overridden by anything, the radial menu can be used instead.

Eggs (Quetz, Giga, Carcha, Golden Hesper).
Other Consumables (Kibbles, Veggie Cakes, Bee Honey, Soups, Battle Tartare, Shadow Steak Saute.)
Creature Resources (Achatina Paste, Ammonite Bile, Rhino Horns.)
Other Resources (Absorbent Substrate, Black Pearls, Gasoline, Element.)

If all of these are 100%, the baby will inherit all the base stats of the host used (This includes levels from mutations).
Babies will inherit a mix of colors from the wild Rhynio and the host creature.

Cryopodding a host WILL kill the developing larvae.

No ninja. I was saying the impregnated creature constantly uses up obscene amounts of food. If you don't keep it fed, it will starve faster than the baby will grow

Disappointing. What's the use of a new animal if only 2 spawn per map per server initiation, even more so with only 2 maps containing spawn.
This is because it can still only come male or female and thus not have the possibility of getting puppies.
Guys here already cleaned the map hours ago, killing everything they see in front of them but no more rhyiognata were born after the first 2.

Hello everyone, I have a problem. I was playing on a server, paused the game for an update, and now I can't find the server I was playing on available.

locusts are mainly herbivores, this is a carnivore. Locusts have compact mouthparts, this one has an ambitextrous extending lower jaw. Locusts have a box head, this one has a horn. Locusts are jumpers, this one can only fly. Locusts move forward and back, this one moves like a dragonfly in the air, and like a crab on land. It's no more a locust than I am a justice of the peace.

also, it has an earwig tail pincer. there are dragonflies with the same thing
