hey guys so this glitch(?) has been happening to me where I'll be running, flying, on a dino, it doesn't matter, im just moving and ill suddenly get super slow like im encumbered or stuck on something and sometimes i just stop entirely for only a second or two till it goes back to normal. @red plover - in my opinion, if you tweak to many settings, it ruins the experience overall. Best option is to leave the setting to default, other than boost your taming speed by perhaps 3x ... so maybe 3.0 vs 1.0
Doesn't make sense as a solo player to baby sit a tame for anything more than 20 minutes really

Since the announcement that the servers are going down in a few months I have a suggestion.

The peak server numbers have crashed on all platforms. Meaning you have no player base. Furthermore you still putting up 2x on official is just insulting.

Possible solution:
10x for the remaining months for official servers.

Gigas stam is fine, it's balanced and walking with it is quite good

1 if you managed to tame a pteranodon by now , use it as bait and have it follow you as far as possible from your base
2 if you managed to craft flak armor or atleast chitin , just shoot it from the opposite direction of your base with a bow and have it follow you as far away as possible untill you die , even hide armor will do but you wont last more than just a few hits with hide armor , mind that youll have to sacrifice these armor sets to lead it away from your base
3 if theres a lot of high level herbivores around , have the raptor attack you directly when you are 1 inch from a herbivore , it will attack that herbivore and they will all fight the alpha raptor (for example theres 3 stegos and if it hits 1 of the stegos , all the stegos will attack him, or brontos or whatever theres around and can help you fight it)

you can repeat step 2 untill you think you have have lead it as far away as you think its enough

these methods work for all dinos that you want to kill without much effort (only 1 and 3) or for a dino that you want to lead away from somewhere(all 3 methods) (for example you are taming something vulnerable but there is a maximum level rex or carno around , or an alpha dino lol...)

the only good thing about gigas is that they are BIG and that makes them have a large attack radius so you can attack many more things at the same time even if its damage isnt as big, if you put a lot of points in damage into a sabertooth then you could get like 200 dmg a hit with it , if you do same for giga , it would be about 200 too , but giga can hit like 10 or more dinos at once , which makes it do 2000 damage per hit compared to sabertooth which is a very small dino , thats why giga is the most prefered by people to be used in genesis missions and extinction element nodes/OBS

i really could never find any other use for a giga , other than that its big , tanky and have a large attack radius

if theres other uses for it , id like to hear them because these reasons are not good enough for me to tame gigas since i dont do genesis missions/extinction element nodes/OBS 24/7 lol

Hi I have a question about game difficulty level vs boss fight. Will besses be easier on 0.4 with dinos +-/200lvl or on 1.0 with dinos +-300lvl? I know that bosses will scale up with difficulty level.

What i would like to know the best ways to farm for a better one (NO Genesis map yet)

deep sea loot crates , or fight an alpha tusoteuthis and get ascendant fishing rods , the better the rod , the better the blueprints you find , i once got a 504% longneck with it (but it required about 15000 metal ingots to craft it lol)
the bigger the fish = the better the loot
each kind of bait got different maximum sizes , but idk for sure if one of the baits give more loot than the others when you catch the fish with that specific bait AKA bait that has access only to smaller fish could be better but idk for sure

so does the combat actually utilize creature abilities and stuff in a fun way? or are they used in an interesting way only in survival gameplay and stuff and dont make combat any less flat and boring?

the most enganging combat is probably pvp , in pve most enganing combat is on foot without dinos (atleast for me) since you have a big selection of guns and tek weaponry(similar to halo weapons)

try going to genesis 2 and complete the survive the ark on gamma , you will need : many sets of flak(metal) armor in your inventory along with a lot of healing brews , maybe 100 or more

upgrade your health a lot and weight

you could try with chitin armor but youll need many more sets in your inventory and many more healing brews

ok i think i royaly fudged any way to get a char back i tried putting in ticket but they said i need a snap shot of implant . i had my crafter on e one server my main on another .went to transefer main off to get crafter turned out crafter was on same server it asked me if i wanted to over ride that char i immediately logged off then on it didnt give me a option on what character to log in now everytime i try for my main it says make a new character
