One of the issues with WC tho, imo, is they do a lot of crappy things to the game, then when they get backlash they 'genuinely want the players feedback on things' but never do anything with it.

hey so I've got kind of a weird issue, I am wanting to completely overhaul spawns on Fjordur while trying to limit use of Simple Spawners since using a ton of Simple Spawners tends to corrupt saves in my experience, and I don't have access to the ModKit at the moment (not enough space) to make a custom mod for it.

so, obviously the .ini gives us a pretty straightforward ability to replace spawns with other spawns, as well as add additional spawn points. the problem is that I haven't come across a good way to, say, exchange spawns without the game completely removing all of a creature's spawns from the game.

for example, I want to remove vanilla Maewing spawns (Midgard & Asgard) and have Maewings instead spawn in Jotunheim. but if I override the vanilla Maewing spawn (either with another creature or with a blank) and then add Maewings to Jotunheim (either by overriding a Jotunheim spawn or adding a new spawn point) the game takes it to mean no Maewings at all, even with the new spawn points, which is expected but frustrating for this project lol. I'm wanting to know if there is another option using .ini or something similar, since that kind of information can be very, very difficult to find on web searches, or if I'm missing/misunderstanding something important about the current functionality. otherwise, I may just have to resort to risking Simple Spawners in the near term.

ASM's website isnt update from what i see. Their videos use a really old version. Probably still relevent, but other YT channels might have better info. Should just need to check the directory override checkbox and set the cluster ID.
