Standard boss team of rexes and a yuty should be fine. But you need to be very well equipped yourself, with your best gun and plenty of ammo- You're going to be spending most of the boss battle on foot, and you're probably going to have to do most of the heavy lifting doing damage to CMC yourself.

Giant Cicadas!

Cicadas, in real life, are well known for their ability to well, scream. In ARK, Cicadas would be found on redwood trees, and be entirely passive towards players. When attacked, rather than fighting back, they release a sonic "scream" of sorts, disorienting nearby creatures before quickly flying away to safety. This would increase torpor, but mainly just slow for roughly 10 seconds and maybe blur the camera a bit.

Notably, they spawn in a specific way. Rather than being common whenever, they are actually pretty rare 90% of the time... but every 12 in game days, they become much more common, like the real life cicada brood cycles; about every 12 years they tend to come out in large amounts.

When tamed (via knockout and with tree sap), they can be picked up and moved like dodos. When placed somewhere, they are able to act as warning systems; a player from another tribe, hostile dinosaurs, or just set it to anyone. If someone comes within its range, it will let out its scream, stunning/slowing the enemy, and give a notification to the tribe who tamed the Cicada.

If killed, it'll drop chitin and meat.

That's usually a hardware issue on your end unfortunately

Usually caused by your computer not being able to load the map fast enough before the connection boots you out

Unironically one of my favorite Parts about this survive the arc strategy I'm using is at the end after I killed the rest of the way I get to dance around one last dodo or snail or whatever for a few minutes

What you did with that setting is equivalent to how the Gigas are set up on official. A wild giga will have 50,000 or more HP, but after tame it drops to 18,000. Does that make since?

long story short: cryopod then when they are aggressive and burried, they will un-cryo still aggressive and burried and even ignore your cryosickness. they will be 100% ready to pounce someone off their tame and stun them. you can also soak turrets with them if no tek turrets are involved. if you strap c4 on them and then burry them, the c4 wont be shot by turrets until it unburries and the burried purlivia can even be picked up and dropped on a base.

Similar to prime, it spoils quickly. Unless you already have it trapped and know where it is chances are it’s going to spoil by the time you get there, or in the Dino’s inventory

And you can’t make jerky out of it like prime meat.

Kibble is cheaper and easier to obtain

For mutton you have to actually find a Ovis, tame the ovis, and breed the ovis so you have enough to tame something

You should try and get a stego. Theyre pretty tanky and are immune to dismounting attacks. since youre close to the redwoods try and clear a path straight through and make walls to mark the path

depends on what you do/want to do

if you're always running around with a bunch of stuff then weight is good. if you're always on foot then HP and Stamina is good. if you're not using dinos to gather then MD is good for getting more stuff

just go with whatever you feel you need more of
