I'd say so. Don't put it too near the metal or it won't respawn. Argy is very good for hauling the metal back if you get a bunch but be careful not to loose em. You can also find anky near the metal and they harvest it very well. Worth taming

It also makes you reconsider how you move around the map. And between the small biomes, low ceilings, and the free teleport you have access to at any time, flying doesn't offer a whole lot in the first place

reapers are my fave apex, but they just don't have the damage output of gigas or carcharos and can't be bred, so i'm actively slowing myself down by using a reaper on non-aberration maps over one of the other two because it has half the damage

my favorite wyverns are embers, and they're in the mid tier as far as wyverns go. desmos have outclassed griffins by a landslide, but i'll still take griffins because they're easier to tame without going out of the way to grind for them, and i like how they look and control more

every new dino makes the old dinos irrelavent

like, i'm not gonna presume anything, but back before stryders came out, everybody was out there taming a bunch of dinos to farm different resources, or they were putting the work in to get a mantis or two. then stryders came out and you can tame a low level by going through just the race missions, and it'll make every other dino except for wood gatherers worthless if you have the resources to transport it around

i mean with ab farming. we went from kark and anky, to magmasaur, to stryder, as DLCs released

depends on the map, on Genesis you can buy a ton, some maps have burnt trees u can harvest or u just burn wood

The level of animals is based on difficulty settings

Go into the server's ini and set the difficulty offset to 5.0 for max level 150 critters

You'll know it works when everything starts spawning in multiples of 5

Note that this does not make it more likely that you'll find these higher level creatures unless you're on specific Maps, using specific mods, or have done some other tomfoolery with the settings

yeah 150 is the max level you can get on console unfortunately unlike PC where you can edit the games ini files to get the difficulty above 1 to get higher than level 150 dinos

It’s not that u can’t raise it it’s just that the game won’t process higher levels than 150 so as soon as you get in the game it resets it for you
