Babies do listen to stop following whistle, but not land flyer command as far as I seen. But then, we are on different platforms, but I get flying babies sometimes on official pve, and land flyer whistle doesnt get em to land.

Babies arent supposed to be flying at all.

Events aren’t actually in the “hard code,” because of the memory limitations the game faces

They need to run an update to launch an event. It’s possible they’ll add the code, or maybe someone will make a mod. But if they stop putting out the update, there won’t be any events

For a lot of us, I’m sure our Ark folder is over 300gbs, and at this point they could add another 100gb on top and I wouldn’t really mind

But for people on lower end machines or consoles, it’s a lot to ask

Personally, if I never see a super turkey again I’ll be perfectly happy

The advantage of a raft: you aren’t tied down to a single position, you’re more difficult to plan around and commit a full on raid against

Disadvantage of a raft: you move around, and roll dice every time you move that the worst possible kind of person will become aware of you

I don’t necessarily think it’s better or worse than a traditional base.

I think your best bet is to divide your resources up between 3-4 smaller bases. You’re gonna get wiped. Probably pretty often. Plan for it

Ravagers are terrifying, plan every step you take in the early game around them

Climbing pikes will kill you more often than not, and a gliding suit is extremely fun

Finding how to navigate is going to be most of the early game. On first blush you’re going to find a lot of areas that seem like you need to fall to get into

But you can go from portal to green to blue to red to rock drake trench without jumping off of anything

Definitely, fertile lake and the portal are most common for parasaurs and early tames, the only issue with portal is that there are no build areas and basilisks.

yeah as a matter of a fact when I was grinding for 1 hour on the island to find a bee I pulled up the getallstate command which essentially tells you how many of that dino there is on the server. When I put in the command there was no queen bees anywhere in the island

I use teuso + bary on the water caves and reaper for new snow cave. I think i used velons for the swamp cave (fun but laggy AF). Rest i just solo since they're pretty easy with a good shotgun.

for me it would be aberration (followed closely by se) simply because of how drastically they changed the progression of the game, with a greater focus on moment/traversal and dealing with heights as opposed to just flying

When i lived on gen1 i loved thyla. Good tame for travelling and carrying but also rockdrake as can climb glide and swim which makes it pretty useful on a server where ya cant mount flyers like argies,wyvs etc

Yeah. Because I figured out how to transfer my Ark character so I learned the engrams I needed from genesis part 2 onto extinction

And in extinction I just never run out of gasoline thanks to my gachas
