You have to sneak up behind them and feed the either berries or kibble

If they see you they run away and you lose the taming. So best bet is to use ghillie and bug repellent, if you have cactus broth that works too. Crouch when you get near them

Whenever I log onto a server, I get the same error message "you have been kicked by battle eye: client not responding" I googled it and the method on a YouTube video didn't work, anyone know how to fix?

Uninstall battleeye then start the game. It’ll force it to redownload. It’s an anti cheat but it gets wigged out sometimes and you have to force a reinstall

Had been playing the server that I host using my pc with my friends for about two weeks, out of no where it crashes, I found where the game file saves were located in the hopes I could load up a previous save but it still seems to crash so I was seeing if anyone knows how to load back a previous save incase I’m doing it wrong (the whole game crashes upon attempting to load server up)

To load a backup you usually change the name of the current save, and then change the backup to the name the current save was (ie, change TheIsland.ark to TheIslandmybackup.ark, and then change the auto save backup, to TheIsland.ark)

Then next time yo launch the server it should pull from that file to launch from since its just pointed to the path name

the only tip i can give, since this stuff is out of my control and probably wildcard has something to do with it is to use a flyer when going above mountains and thread more carefully in the cave

Drake climbing is the only one i trust fully, thyla climbing might be ok too but they're not super practical

You can get from island to island easily
