getting enough xp for stone base parts, then built a big base with it, got me to like level 60 for free

and then i just either killed titanoboas for xp or went to the ice cave where you have creatures at like 300-500 level i dont remember now

and yuty can scare them off so they wont jump on you

So gen 2 is great place to find bps, just collecting drops. On any map that it exists you want to tame a liepleurodon before cave crawling. It’ll give you a 6 hour buff to loot. After that it’s just rng. The loot pools in the game are incredibly diluted having a ton of possibilities with only a few of them being relevant and then having to hope for a good quality on top of that.

Oh. OSDs on extinction are good if you have the tames to clear purples

Not without mods. You’re supposed to swim around the turtle with the swarm debuff and it’ll start eating the swarm. Takes awhile to complete and other creatures will kill the swarm making you have to start over.

let me tell you a story about Ark. Finally after an hour, I got the fish to start taming the turtle, got to 50 then it got hit by a manta. Got it up to 89, and as i was killing sharks, the fish disappeared and it went back down to zero again, because there is no other school of fish nearby

i tested it out and IED deals 10k damage (i had a 12k hp indominus rex andd 2k hp was left after getting blown up by an IED) and then i tamed a desert titan and killed some raiders with rexes and the average hp of a rex is 9k and i killed each rex in 8 hits

so an ied deals 9-10 times more damage

When you play Simulations Missions, you won t die when you get killed, so you keep your stuff, but whats about dinos, dose the dino survive if he dies in a simulations mission?

I don't think green gems can be used for oil. For that you'd want dung beetles and/or an oil rig.

Afaik the only thing green gems can be used for are climbing picks, which are not particularly useful on Fjordur.

You make congealed gas balls from condensed gas, which you can mine with a pick, Anky or mining drill at certain rocks on the volcano island.

The other way is a lot more effort

my goal or my thoughts was oil from the gems but I can use the gas to just power my generator and such instead of smelting oil so I can save oil for stuff
I'm running out because I ran out of gas and had to smelt my oil to gas earlier

Why aren't you interested in dung beetles or oil pumps?

Those are objectively easier

An oil pump will provide a lifetime supply of gasoline after running for a day or so. Beetles will produce small amounts fairly quickly as well.

because I'm in SP so oil pump does me no good and I tamed a beetle for fertilizer then just gave up on that idea
I mean sure I can do both but im me I'm gonna forget all about the beetle and the pump the only reason I need or want oil is because I'm trying to actually finally be productive I'm the type to be lazy until I have to go farm it I'm not the type that just gathers a million metal in a single run no I grab maybe a stack and return I'm just complicated overall

Oil pumps actually do work just fine in sp. You just have to let it build up before going offline.
Not sure what happened with your beetle, sounds like you didn't manage it correctly

I prefer the pump over the beetle in the early game before I have the S+ Item Collector

Oh and also, there are a bunch of oil rocks in a small island near Vardiland

not one but managed I brought it to base and said nope not doing that anymore
and pumps only work on render distance trust me I know from lost island ever live halfway across the map and finally go to the pump a week after you last took everything and it's still empty
a full week of playing with indeed breaks but still amounted to a full week

• have large player counts
• a weak pc

I run a couple of Ark servers on an old PC (one with my 'home' map and the other I can swap in whatever map I want to go to). It's an I3-4150 CPU with 32gb of RAM. The Ark servers each use about 6% CPU and 6gb of RAM.
