Get argys. They’ll haul far more weight per trip. They have a high base weight plus weight reduction on a lot of materials. Another fast method is to build a raft or motor boat and build a large platform on it, with storage containers. You ride that to the shore closest to the mountains, use your argy and anky to harvest and put it all on the boat and make one trip

Neither crafting or melee are worth putting a single point in for your actual build. People just mindwipe, spend all their points on crafting skill and spend the entire day crafting bps for the best possible gain. Then when the mindwipe cooldown lapses they mindwipe again and go back to their normal build.

There are 3 mini bosses, beyla (giant bee), steinbjorn (ice bear) and hati and skoll (pair of fenrirs)

They each drop their head which is needed to teleport to the respective bosses (beyla to broodmother, steinbjorn to megapithicus, hati and skoll to dragon)

Then fenrisulfer requires all three island boss heads

Depends, tho. For example when I'm solo or playing on a pve server, I no longer prioritize as much for mixing in low lvl dinos (with low oxygen stat, etc.) as much as I used to. Although it doesn't necessarily hurt.

At 50k hp and 1.5-2k dmg, you need to be on point with the whistles to avoid fireballs though. Because when it lands + air balls will destroy your team

BUT if you are good with whistling to dodge, those stats are fine

Also as he said, you want good saddles no matter the stats, like 95-110 armor

The Island and Rag are the most "vanilla" I believe, but Valguero, Lost Island, and CI have a similar vanilla quality. Most other maps have special features that might be harder on newer players (ymmv)

The runes that you collect that are like little red fires are just reskinned explorer notes. To fight the mini bosses you have to kill alphas and collect an actual item called runestones

Well what i can confirm is if you dont have a tame pen dont worry, the skiff can hold the dino up (obviously) and you can trank it from below the skiff looking upwards.

More of a 2 man job but if you have a flyer can be a solo act.

Yeah but its easier if you have a "basewife" and a hunter. One who gathers mats and almost always at base (ready to trank) and the hunter who catches everything brings it back and ensures from the sky no enemy ground or otherwise tries to pester the tranker or prey

Plus it can travel in the weird bubble to the other realms of fjordur so what if you werent able to go to base at all skiff tranking is a useful tip.

they aren't really meant to be a damaging tame

So the actual quality doesn’t mean much you can find apprentice quality with higher damage percents than journeyman quality of the same item. It’s all math based on the weapons base damage. The rifle has a higher base than a crossbow, so any rifle with the same damage percent as any crossbow will be better.

crossbow torpor stacks, meaning if a giga hypothetically needs 300 tranq arrows or 180 darts, you could unload those 300 arrows faster BUT need to afk for a while to let it all kick in. on the other hand, you'd need to sit there to unload all 180 darts
