Got clay for my birthday, this is my first attempt at clay modeling its a thylacoleo named Badger, sadly alot of the little claws kept falling off and disappeared on the floor, and then the head fell off and rolled on the carpet leaving bumps on his face but I'm quit proud of how it turned out 😁

I never had actual clay so this is the first time, but this clay is white air dry clay, I'm not sure if I will paint it, I'm not that good at painting

Okay, I think the white air dry Clay you could burn but dosent have to, but when you plan to burn make a "hole" inside bc when Clay is to fat or thin it could break while burning, and with makeing a Mix with bit of Clay and water so that it looks super smooth you can fix broken parts or smooth them out to make it look nicer, also works with a wet Finger

Made this today for my two year old cousin who is absolutely obsessed with dinosaurs, if I could send clips of his reaction here I totally would but I got in shit for that last time! Anyways this here is my own creation of a Theosaurus named after my cousin. It’s got the head and teeth/mouth of well any carnivore really but he said it was a trex mouth, and then it’s got the headpiece and horns of a triceratops and then the body and tail are sorta similar to an anklo? Just gave up on making more spikes! And of course a lil nest with four eggs in it!

Can you be more specific about this? Are you certain that they have the mutation because it exists in their breed history? That will always happen. They don't always inherit the mutation, but if you're breeding with a mutated parent it will show up in the history on the mutation counter.

Similarly, while mutations are always a combination of a stat and a color, they can still inherit the stat without the color. They can also inherit the color without the stat.

That's most likely what happened. The mutations aren't always guaranteed to pass onto a baby.

The proportions are a bit weird (I think actually making it more accurate would benefit the design) also the feathering looks glued on and the mohawk doesn't help. Plus I think actually giving it lips would make it more unique and it would make it stand out more

That’s some fair points although I chose the bare teeth to kinda make it look more gnarled and “arkified”, I also intentionally chose the mowhawk as a kind of extra flare to the design. The anatomy is base heavily off of actual skeletals so it’s mostly accurate aside from the stylization. I really appreciate the feedback.

repeat
you can get pretty colors or mutations in stats, like better health, stam, speed, dmg etc.

It's a small chance to get one so I recommend having a lot of females
They can boost stats 2 points and you can stack them to get up to 40 mutations
