It’s a lizard with sexual dimorphism.

Males are larger than females but weaker.

The males look more like chameleons.

It can turn invisible.

It has three “stands” with its tongue:

Grapple: It can swing from place to place like a grappling hook.

Attack: Long-range attacks that give torpor from a distance.

Lock: Locks onto an attacker to hit, stun, throw, or pull them into its deadly jaws.

It can walk up walls like a Thyla and stick (not walk) on any surface.

Its shedding can be turned into a paste.
You can add dye and give it to any other dino to give them a color you want, but the region is random.

Females are faster and more like geckos.

They can walk on any surface, have a pounce ability, and can see in the dark.
Their attacks cause bleeding.

When low on health, they can drop their tail, which starts to regenerate some of their health and gives them a 20% attack boost. You can pick up the tail for mutagel, and if you’re very verry lucky, mutagen.

Both of them love mutagel. If you feed it to them, they gain 20% movement speed and armor for everybody in a radius.
They can even survive in outer space.

Yeah if you get an angler for silica pearl farming. If you have a high armor MC or JM yuty saddle blueprint you could use that instead and roll your character into a crafter. As long as you get around 100 armor you would be okay

wild level's the sum of all stats combined, so it's always an unknown what an individual stat will be until the creature tames out--high wild lvl gives you a better chance but no guarantee of any individual stat being high

People tend to do level 1 or level 5 gachas because they are cheap to clone, and you can level crafting to the optimal level without having a high level

if you happen to be on singleplayer i think most people still on lost colony are running the Better Outposts mod so you can actually finish the outposts. otherwise i don't think there's a way, unless maybe you can try to hit them with rockets or something

If it can move under the ground, maybe try leading into the water and see if it might pop out the sand there?

If you happen to be on singleplayer you can use the Ghost command and a cryopod to get it out, but you'd need to make or cheat in a cryo first; use Walk command when back on land to undo ghost. If it's on official... yeah you can try to lead it into the water but that's it. if he died, RIP 🙁
