Welp, Ark crashed, and I come back to this. This game really makes me want to punch a hole in the wall. I was 100+ days strong, had epic base and farms all around me and now, poof, it is gone. I was about ready to fight the Alpha dragon and now everything, my tames, my base, my items, all gone. I've posted my base before, and I'm sure you guys have seen it. It was def one of my best builds and cost thousands of resources. I dumped well over 150 hours into this Ark save. Only my character exists. Here is some before and after screenshots. I'm taking a break from this game.

Hello all, here is my vote submission!
This medium sized critter dwells in the blue zone of the 3 zones in this underground Ark, it is like a built in Bulbdog or Shinehorn that actually is rideable, it's diet consists of Nameless and their Venom, occasionally a juvenile Reaper that stumbles into its territory.
Survivors have successfully tamed the Koolasuchus, they described it as waiting for it to open its large mouth and proceed to throw nameless venom into it, it takes atleast 10 nameless venom to successfully tame a Koolasuchus Cleelandi.
Once tamed, this creature is the perfect counter to Nameless and Reapers, with a large charge capacity built into it and a strong tail smack to knock back even the most sturdy creatures, it's a swift swimmer in the water, but it isn't exactly the fastest on land though.
Once domesticated, this creature can act like a lamp, the little bulbs on the side of its body act as lamps, Koolasuchus Cleelandi come in various different colors aswell as their bulbs, with every color this bulb will shine it creating beautiful patterns everywhere. It's saddle is able to carry two people on it, serving as a great traveling mount if you wish to traverse the dangerous caverns.

Males can make their vocal sacs glow and lure creatures, while females can shoot out explosive eggs that function like little flash grenades. Also, as it's based on gastric brooding frogs, this funky fellow gives birth to live young!

Included is a helpful chart to understand where the fellow sits in terms of Ab's progression and how it matches up to two similar creatures.

this is only for steam players but if you right click ark and click properties and go into the betas tab, you can find a beta called timecapsule and itll download 2015 ark, you can host servers still even though the timecapsule official went down, and there isnt any unofficial, but you can host a non dedicated and play with friends like that.

Back to the OG Island for one last time.

I've made an extensive custom configuration hoping to more properly balance the game. From recreating spawns from scratch to add/remove/move creatures around, made them spawn at specified levels to maintaining a proper balance between them (a Carno will always be stronger the a Raptor, but weaker the a Rex) to redesigning the experience curve (earlier levels take longer, later levels gained at a more consistent rate) and engrams unlocked at different levels (most unlocked at lower levels, but take longer to unlock due to higher experience requirement for the earlier levels) making each level much more meaningful.

I'm also playing with primitive survival rules, so only low technology stuff, making it much more challenging and fun.

Got to level 10 and began building with wood. May not seem that much these days, but actually took me a few ours to get there due to my rebalance. Wood structures unlock at level 10 (rather then 11), but the amount of experience I needed to reach it is equivalent to that of level 39 on official settings. This makes it feels more like the good ol' days, where building with wood was quite an achievement. Today you can reach such high levels so fast even on official settings that we take it for granted.

It all started when the trike nation attacked

Needing a faster mount that could survive the wilds a little longer (my raptors died within 3 minutes of me leaving my base), decided to be a bit bolder and went to the swamp. Found these 2 Sivatheriums (from animals of atlas mod) got them in my taming barge. On my way out There was a Rhynio there, scared the poop out of me, but it didn't see me. When I got to the base, I pumped the Sivatheriums full of tranq arrows, but my primitive crossbow just couldn't keep the torpor up. They seem to lose torpidity fast and have a really large pool, though a relative low hp. They actually got lose in my base, ran around a bit, got in the barge again, got out, ran around and I had to kill them. Forgot to take pictures of the havoc.

Had I actually gotten my act together this was a concept I had considered for adding to the Jumping Spider submission for the Aberration creature vote. Would have had a rock body it could camouflage as like a rock golem. Would have a been friendly and inquisative. You would mimic it's dances (with emotes) to let you passive tame it.
