Hello, I consider myself a new player, as I haven't played this game in a year. I think it's a great and beautiful game, and it's worth my time. However, there's a problem, or maybe several, but I'll focus on the main one: why is no one talking about the frequent updates, the numerous bugs, and the server instability? Have you all gotten used to this, my wonderful community? Because I've never gotten used to it, and I blame the management who do whatever they want and don't give us our due. What's the point of updating the game morning and evening in the same day? I can't even list all the problems; I'm sure you're all suffering from them. Of course, the game was supposed to reduce its size and delete some unnecessary old files, but they're lazy and won't do it because it would cost them money. So, they add more space to the game every time. I'm truly fed up. Sell it if you can't fix your mistakes. I'm sick of this game. It's unacceptable to find my house destroyed after six months, and my character deleted... A three-year-old's mistake with just two clicks is ridiculous and unfair. At the very least, a password should be required when deleting a character, or at least an "OK" message should appear before overwriting the main character, instead of just clicking the mouse button. This is truly ridiculous; a whole month and I still haven't been able to get my character back. This is really frustrating. 😡

I have same issue with my steam account as item slot 1 is not updating properly. With the playstation uploading and downloading is working.

its genuinely so insane how poorly this game is handled. Like the fact that any players play at all is a shock, i want to love ark and have poured legit over 8k hours in and bought every DLC, Evolved on multiple consoles and my pc, Ascended etc. Ive consistently supported this development team and all ive ever gotten back is fucked in the ass for it. Between the meshing issues, releasing ascended as a paid game despite promises of a free engine upgrade then closing evolved servers, the cheaters running rampant, losing characters to random transfer issues, the list of gamebreaking devs that literally 0 other playerbase would stand for is HUGE. this game conceptually is so good and is unfortunately so addictive but jesus christ you guys may be the most lost development team ive ever seen. I genuinely believe anyone in this discord server over the age of 13 could practice development for 2 months and be able to release a more competent update that doesnt break 50% of the game and require 17 million patches to fix

yeah atp i cant even join a server ive tried so many it instantly kicks me and gives me an error message. who knows man just dont transfer im sure it will take a long time to get any characters restored bc so many requests will be put in since this is an and off issue all day. additionally if you play arkpoc servers like me might as well just start fresh cuz by the time ur character + tames are restored it will probably be too late into wipe to even enjoy. genuienly if you havent transferred yet dont even try it. if you have and lost your character search every server youve been on and pray it saved itself. if not submit to character restoration and hope they are able to get through the list quickly ig

If you lost your character on an EU server, try downloading it on an NA server. It works the other way around too; it worked for me. I’m not sure if it works for other regions though
