If the exploit is fixed, what's the reason for withholding even the affected area? Telling people to check patch notes that just say 'fixed exploit' twelve times with zero context isn't transparency. Once it's remediated, minimal disclosure of the affected system isn't a risk, it's just basic communication.

I don't claim to know everything, but in contrast, another large game like World of Warcraft takes like 30 minutes for an expansion to install and update. That happens once every 1.5-2 years. Every other update is about 5 minutes at most, maybe 15 for a major patch.

We aren't tech gurus. We cant tell you difinitively what to buy. That's up to you. Your drive allows for 7100mbps. That's a fairly fast drive.
My WD Black SN750 patches with speeds up to 4gbps. Patching only ever takes about 12 minutes. That's all I know.
