The upside is you don't actually have to find an element gacha to start producing element dust. You can just produce a bunch of gacha babies and kill off any that don't have the production you want the moment they're born.

does the distance on detection of dino finder scale with render distance? i see videos of people scanning creatures 5km away but when i move 200m away i cant find the creature

No, when dinos arent in render they go into "hibernation" and the searcher cant find them, you have to remove hibernation to find them. But that takes a toll on perfomance
