I just don't come into chat screaming about it. some people are capable of coming to chat talking about the bugs they have without cursing the devs and understanding that none of them are doing it to purposely upset anyone. They actively try to fix so much all the time. I love this game so much, some lag and crashes isnt going to change that. The water tree is kinda crap IMO. I’ve used that tree myself and it doesn’t really help all that much, if you’re in the ocean you’re going to be on a mount pretty much all the time, and most of the abilities are just benefiting your character. Which isn’t super useful.

That said, using a mindwipe tonic will reset your lost colony skill points, so if you pick an ability you don’t like you can change it later on.

Honestly that’s the only thing I’m attracted to in all of ark.
Without official perma servers I would never have gotten into ark at all.
I tried unofficials a bit, tried self hosting and even buggy SP but nope
And many others I know and play with in official see it similarly

More resources would definitely help rhe stability, in ASE especially with the freedom to also choose other providers like Host Havoc, and pay for extra ram and cpu priorization it was day and night between officials and unofficials in terms of „lag“ and stability

Where are you seeing a bottleneck?
Theres no mechanism that limits ram use.
Ive seen a game caused memory leak eat up 64 gigs of ram on one system before the game finally crashed. (Wc fixed the bug the next day)

Just because you can draw it on a PC and build a 10 meter prototype doesnt mean it works for 100x the scale 😂
