Just because people are pissed off doesn't make it an entitlement issue. They want a game to work that they paid for and they would normally enjoy on their weekend with friends on the official network. While there isn't a monthly fee (which I highly wish WC would do a hybrid model that creates this revenue stream as it would pay for things like server monitoring, maintenance and afford them to implement a proper ticket resolution SLA) there is nothing wrong with being upset over a product not meeting your expectations, especially for a Live Service game. The issues we are seeing here are caused by 3 reasons.

• Improper Management
• Zero Testing (The you are the QA model)
• Horrible business model and practices which lead to not being able to afford things like more staff for the development team, etc.

Their ownership doesn't help. Snail Games has a reputation of financial mismanagement and shotty business practices which leads to consistently having massive debt which I would assume a large portion of the revenue made from ARK goes to paying off.
It's for that reason I feel it's steadily gotten worse over the years. I mean prior to Snail Games aquiring them you used to be able to set your watch to the Crunch, they were more actively involved in the community, etc.

The conversation didn’t mention how they messed up, sure they did.

I think there is several things they could improve on which includes that, includes communication and other things on their website.

I am more lenient because they did do a PTR on Asa before but people took the piss, to be honest, and falsely reported several things so they stopped it.

They should have rolled back the failed launch. Brought everything back up and work on the fix offline. But they broke more then just the new features. Love it. Good things all is messed up because of paid for DLC.
