Snow is map-wide, not confined to a biome

Only Winter Drakelings spawn — no other variants at all (lost colony tame)

Other dinos that normally spawn outside snow biomes are still appearing

That means it’s not biome-based, but a global season state

It’s also real-world winter, and ARK already ties content/events to real time

Conclusion:
Lost Colony appears to be locked into a Winter season phase, not just a snowy map.

I think it should be enough to do gamma. The boss fight has multiple phases, one sleeps the tames you brought and you fight using tek spear.

Yes, using thrall puppeteer on a thrall makes you gain the thrall's exp, and next time you mindwipe it brings your level down to that exp
